Okay, first off, the rooms at this hotel are $50 per night. That pretty much sums up what you'll experience here, with one or two surprising exceptions. This is a very large, older property that is badly in need of renovations, and that shows from the moment you arrive. The room itself was relatively clean, but the carpet was dingy and dirty. Happily, the bathroom, and specifically the toilet, tub, and sink were very clean. Bed linens were acceptably clean, even though the comforter was threadbare and worn. Microwave and refrigerator in room are a nice touch, and the wireless internet was steady. Breakfast was pretty much cold cereal and pre-wrapped pastries, weak coffee and yellow acid masquerading as orange juice. Plenty of fast food joints nearby, and a couple of local places that seem okay. Beware, don't get too far away from the hotel strip, especially towards 'downtown', as there are some very sketchy areas. Oh, and the long, long, heavy and noisy freight trains that rumble past in the middle of the night are quite the surprise.

Room Tip: Try to get a room away from the office, preferably on the second floor. Groups seem to congregate near the office (possibly to smoke?) and their conversations get a bit loud at times.

We just needed a bed and shower while on a road trip. Oh...and a place that would accept our dog. The room was somewhat outdated, but basically clean. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast, so I can't comment on that. This is the first motel I've ever stayed at that had a sign at the front desk warning you about mosquitoes -- and they weren't kidding! Every time we opened our door, one or two came in our room.

We were visiting someone in Forrest City otherwise it would not be a destination spot. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The toilet did need to be fixed. It was not bolted down properly. We did not do the continental breakfast as it was rather small and the staff was in the process of refilling out items. Would stay there again if I was ever back in town.

This place was fine for the $50 paid. Stayed in room 108. Couple of problems. No plug on the side of the bed with the nightstand for my cpap machine. Had to put in on the couch on the other side of the bed. The light above that nightstand didn't work either. Bed was very firm-maybe too firm but better that than worn out! Room was nice when we entered. Cool and smelled good. Older hotel and you could tell it by some of the fixtures but not so much a problem. King bed, TV, fridge, microwave, sofa. Continental breakfast was okay. Only 4 tables and they were all full. Took back to the room. Again, not bad for the price.

Stayed July 12th and 13th as I had to go work in Hughes, AR for three days. Checked out Sunday morning. I stayed in room 207, and had no complaints about the room. The air was cold (actually too cold to where I had to turn it down). Staff was friendly, and the room was always clean when I came in at night to eat, shower and sleep. Would stay again if i were up that way.
