Friend and I took our mums for a post Christmas/New Year Sunday treat to this pub - so glad we did! Food was excellent with good sized portions, freshly cooked. I had whitebait, which was lovely and crisp, the roast beef roast - the meat was lovely and tender with none of the horrible bits you have to cut out! Plenty of fresh veg, roasties and 2 large yorkies. The sticky toffee pudding was lighter than I was expecting - but just right after a big roast. The others had chicken and pork and were just as hapy as I was. Reasonably priced for very good food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Will be going back! Worth a visit if you are in the area or heading to the ferry - there is outdoor seating (bit chilly for us in January!) and I believe they also have an area for camping at the back.
