We stayed at the b&b for 2 nights and were very pleased with the cleanliness, food and hospitality of the propriotors Frances and Chris.
We were in the green room which was at the front of the house, it was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with modern decor.
Our only critisism ( and this is purely personal) would be the breakfast seating arrangements. There is only 1 large table for breakfast which means sitting with other guests. We prefer intamacy when dining and having to sit with strangers was uncomfortable for us.
I'm sure you would enjoy your stay at the b&b if you were ok with these arrangements

Room Tip: The green room is at the font of the house we found it very nice

What can i say, i had a fabulous time at this guest house. the food was lovely the hospitality of chris and frances was fabulous and the rooms where very very comfortable.
I think i am making this guest sound too mediocre and it really wasnt!

when we arrived (3 of us my 2 married friends both in their 50's and little old me 29) we had a lovely warm greeting by frances and chris. We had a nice little chat about the drive down then we were promptly shown to our rooms. I had the green room, the room was huge! a lovely double bed, and a massive ensuite. the rooms were exceptionally clean and very very comfortable.

I loved the charachter of the house, as its very old it has a lovely feel to it with its slightly obscure doors and uneven floors. but please dont let this put you off as it added to its charm.

Breakfast was really nice, you had a choice. i had a full breakfast the first morning but i did regret it (not used to having breakfast) because i was too full. so the next 2 days i stuck to fruit, cereal and toast. everything was so well presented you can really understand why it has 4 stars.

myself, sue and steve all felt as if we had been away for 2 weeks rather than 3 days as we had such a relaxing time and frances and chris made this possible.

Blandford forum itself, wasnt what we had expected. we expected a cosmopolitan town set with old georgian style. you didnt get that here i felt that investment is needed to bring back what blandford used to be like. it was nice there dont get me wrong but not what we were looking for.

all in all our 3 days away was fantastic and we would definatley go back to st leonards farmhouse.
thanks chris and frances for making our break a relaxing one!
