Had a lovely stay here!! Arrived early and although we shouldn't have got our room till later out lovely hosts welcomed us with open arms. Lovely room, shower was fab! Breakfast was delicious ! Paul even rang me to tell me I'd left my shoes before I'd got too far when we left.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Old Lyme, it was really convenient for all the restaurants in Lyme, no more struggling up the hills! We had Room 5 which was really lovely, absolutely spotlessly clean and had a nice big bath as well as a shower.

Paul and Tracey were a really nice couple, very helpful without being over fussy. We would have no hesitation in recommending it for a comfortable and friendly stay. No doubt we will be back next year!

Thank you Paul and Tracey!

Just spent three days at this B&B. Had to cancel an original booking but rearranging was not a problem with the owners. Room 5 was comfortable and clean and the location could not have been more convenient for the town centre and sea front. Owners Paul and Tracey were friendly and most welcoming and were aware of individual needs. Breakfast was excellent and the locally sourced bacon and eggs were a delight. Although up a hill the parking could not have been a whole lot more convenient in a place like Lyme Regis. Will return.

Room Tip: Get in early and have Room 5

Cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Arrived on a very miserable day but received a warm welcome from Paul and Tracey. A nicely decorated, very comfortable room with tea/coffee making facilities (good selection too) and fresh filtered water. Useful information pack in room and good selection of leaflets in the lobby. Our room had the use of the private bathroom. Don't believe some of the reviews. It's not any further to walk to than what most of us have to do in our own homes. Excellent breakfast cooked by Tracey in the morning. Great local, tasty ingredients simply cooked. Central location and a short flat walk to the front. Nice little finishing touches too like sewing kit and nailfile. So thoughtful and useful.

Arrived on a very wet day but received a very warm welcome from Paul. Lovely ensuite room with everything as good as you would hope to find. Plenty of local knowledge about restaurants etc was extremely useful and when we are staying in Lyme Regis next time, would very happily stay here again. A great breakfast set us up for the day and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks very much Paul and Tracey.

Room Tip: Room 3 with the ensuite would be a good choice, if available.

Good B&B, nice room and great breakfast.
Remember to get your Parking Permit and drop off your cases before you park.
The parking in Lyme Regis is not easy and the car park is up the hill. If you want not to have to walk up and down hills don't go to Lyme Regis but that would be a pity because its a really nice place!

Charming and comfortable accommodation with attention to personal details and hospitality. Also the breakfasts were excellent - freshly cooked, a good choice and using quality ingredients. Location is right in the centre of Lyme so a short and flat walk to the front and to restaurants. It is possible to unload luggage in the narrow street and then park just up the road using a pass which is issued by the guest house. It is a short but quite steep walk to the car park so be sure to bring the car round to reload if you have heavy luggage.
