Lovely b and b Lindsey and Gail were very helpful and their breakfast was wonderful. Between us we had room 6 the seaview which is a large room with a double bed and a brilliant view also has a bathroom with bath and a v good shower. We also had no 3 which was smaller with twin beds and another good shower . The only thing to bear in mind is that depending which way u go into town there will b a steep walk one way on the aptly named hill road!

Nothing is too much trouble for Gail and Lindsey and I can only reiterate what others have said. I would not hesitate to stay here again - a real home from home. probably the best breakfast ever at any B'n'B. Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Meeting Rocky, the perfectly well behaved staffy was a bonus.

Room Tip: sea view is lovely but rear facing rooms are cheaper and maybe a bit quieter

Well upon arrival i was pleasantly surprised about the b & b, it was not as expected, looking at the web site i thought it was just another nice place.......but it wasn't , it was as i would make my b & b like, nice welcome, very clean, light airy rooms, tea coffee etc, great choice for breakfast, evening meal if required, well i could go on. i can't put my finger on exactly what made it different but it was, anyway nice couple, very informative about the area & would go there next time in town

Perfect position, near town centre but quiet. Excellent welcome. Lovely comfortable, en-suite room, clean and with every facility required. Beautiful sea view. Gail and Lindsey were superb hosts and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. I cannot fault my stay. Thank you Gail and Linsey.

We stayed here for two nights in July, first thing to note is that the location is very good- within a five minute walk of the town centre and the waterfront (although be prepared for the hills!!). The room was clean and spacious. The hosts were very nice, happy to advise on places to visit and also to eat - look out for the book of guest recommendations they have near the door (we particularly liked Millside and Rumours- both excellent seafood restaurants). The breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

I selected the Devonia Guest House based on the location, the pictures of the rooms, surrounding views, the wide range on offer for breakfast, and the way the whole site came across as friendly and inviting. We arrived a little bit early but were welcomed in as the two rooms were already ready and offered tea or coffee. This came with the most amazing lemon cake, so a great start to the holiday. Our four nights in Devonia were great and we enjoyed our time. The owners, Gail and Lindsey are the perfect hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this Guest House as our whole experience was first class with great rooms, friendly hosts, and always an excellent breakfast served every day. And on the breakfast, I now get my daughter saying Gail and Lindsey's famous words in the morning, "ready for cooked" , a phase I expect to hear for a few weeks! Give it a go, as I know you will enjoy staying at Devonia.

This guest house is by far the best we have stayed in. On arrival we were offered tea or coffee which was brought up to our room. The room was very spacious and well equiped, flat screen tv, lovely fluffy towels and most importantly very clean. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of menu.
Gail and Lindsey were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. On one morning Gail saw me taking my flask up to the room, so I could fill it with hot water, and she offered to fill it up for me. They were very friendly and offered advice on which restaurants to visit and the best walks to take. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guest house to anyone that was visiting Lyme Regis.
