excellent clotted cream. excellent (!) scones. Jam and tea to match. All 5 of us went away highly satisfied. We shall be back. Only complaint is that it is slightly cold inside, so we couldn't take our jackets off :-( But this is England, after all :-) It is also a little on the expensive side, £5.95 for 2 scones and tea. But, you gotta pay for quality I suppose. At the end of the day we came here for an excellent cream tea and we got just that, job done !

Went here for a cooked breakfast on a wet and windy day. It was yummy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. Nice portion size. Highly recommended to you all.

Very friendly staff and yummy food, in a fantastic position. We had a cooked breakfast which was great. Nice veggie selection too. Great place to either start your day or to finish your day with a tasty meal.

Stopped for a late lunch on my first visit to Lyme Regis. The service is very good, and the food good. The dessert of apple cake and clotted cream - quite delicious. Great to find a cafe/restaurant providing late lunch; this is important for visitors to your lovely town.

Came here with friends for lunch on our road trip around the Jurassic Coast and Devon. Good basic food for lunch - the ham and cheese on my toasted sandwich were divine! Was good to find somewhere still serving lunch at 3pm. Cream tea was good too (not the best but scones were warm and not dry, clotted cream and lots of jam). Quirky decor in what looks like a very old building (everything is quite small - doorways, tables, chairs etc).
