We had a Christmas do for a party of 16 there, even though there was another large party there as well the standard of food and service was exceptional. Well done!

“Anniversary meal a delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

We had a fab Anniversary dinner here in October on a quiet Monday evening sitting at our favourite table.
Service- wonderful, friendly and all my whims catered for with a smile.
Dinner- absolutely fabulous, lots of scrummy scallops, King prawns, and delicious sauce on the tagletelle. Richards beautifully cooked belly of pork with proper crunchy crispy crackling.
Puds- to die for with a swirl of fun.(It was our seventh wedding anniversary and Julie managed to swirl a 7 into his pud. Wonderful, thankyou.)
Drinks-, had too many which was great, all perfect at right temperature and served with a smile.
Entertainment -2 people sat out too long on the harbour wall in the dark and had to be rescued inshore by the lifeboat as they had got cold!!and left it too long to paddle accross to the sand.A member of staff is a lifeboat crew person and was called out to assist. Prompt action saved the day!!!
Fab place to eat, drink, make merry and all members of staff well trained and always with a smile. We may be local but we know what we like and this is always a delight to come along either for a coffee or a blow out meal. Fab
See you for Christmas day lunch, only place to be seen on Christmas day. Yummy food.
xxx

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! And very pleased you enjoyed the entertainment. Unfortunately the couple are un-willing to do it again for us! See you Christmas Day.

Thank you very much for your kind review and Happy Birthday! I will pass on your comments about the desserts to the chef and see if we can't add a few more to the menu.

“Nice dinner at the Harbour Inn”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

We had a very nice evening meal at this restaurant on Sunday 21 October2012. The front looks out on the seafront and makes the restaurant look like a Victorian cafe, whereas the back entrance reflects the contemporary interior. The food was very good, fresh fish being not surprisingly a focus for their menu. My fish pie was excellent, lovely flavour and the fish in a creamy sauce. Served hot and tasty with a lovely side salad. Good sized portions and although not the cheapest, you do get what you pay for. In addition the service was good, even when it got busy, service was still top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend.
