“Beautiful cottage”
Reviewed June 17, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We had a lovely week in this beautiful, well-equipped cottage. Steve and Angela were perfect hosts and the garden was lovely and full of birds. We had an amazing, clear night when we saw so many stars and watched the bats swooping over our heads. The wine and the eggs were greatly appreciated too. Hope to come back again soon.

“Heaven on earth”
Reviewed June 17, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Second stay here, and what can I say? Even better than we remember, tranquil, relaxing, peaceful, amazing wildlife to watch in the garden. We came back but have been even more blown away than we were the first time. We literally spent hours watching what was happening in the garden.... woodpeckers, nuthatch, blue tits, robins ,rabbits, etc,,etc. Also it feels like home from home in the cottage, clean, bright, welcoming and provides everything you could possible need. If you are looking for a little bit of heaven this is the place, only been home a couple of hours and already sent 2 more dates we want to stay.
Thank you so much Angela and Steve we couldnt ask for more welcoming hosts.

“Delightful hideaway”
Reviewed May 20, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Just come back from 3 nights at the cottage. Angela and Steve provide more than you could ever need for your stay. Log burner tops off the cosy lounge and sit back in reclining chairs in the conservatory whilst watching the various birds come and eat the seed which is also provided for you to feed them in the most beautiful garden setting! What a treat !

“Perfect country escape!”
Reviewed April 30, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

This beautiful cottage is in a wonderfully secluded location where you can listen to the song birds by day and the owls at night. The kitchen is well equipped, with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The conservatory is perfect for relaxing and watching the birds in the garden. We made the most of the fine weather and walked for miles in each direction admiring the countryside and spotting the deer/other wildlife. We found it a very easy and short drive to get to the towns of Lyme Regis, Beer ect for days out.. We were so happy here that we will definitely visit again. Thank you Angela and Steve, for making us feel so welcome.

“Total Peace & Tranquility.”
Reviewed April 22, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We had a fantastic short break here.
The owners, Steve & Angela, made us feel so welcome & couldn't do enough to make us feel at home including a bottle of wine on arrival & freshly laid eggs for breakfast.
The cottage is absolutely fabulous, spotlessly clean with everything you could wish for & set in the most tranquil location.
We were very lucky with the weather as the sun shone all day so we spent the whole time sat in the garden watching the different birds feeding from the feeders scattered all around the beautiful cottage garden.
We were lucky while we were there as a sudden thunderstorm arrived just as it was getting dark so we retired to the cosy conservatory listening to the rain & thunder with the lightning lighting up the garden.
We will definitely be returning for a longer stay as soon as we can.
Thanks again Steve & Angela.
