“Delightful Retreat”
Reviewed September 28, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Delightful cottage set in tranquil gardens in a beautiful part of Devon. Excellently equipped and appointed and much larger than we imagined from the photos. Angela and Steve are lovely helpful people to deal with and even provided some eggs from their hens.
Some nice scenic walks on the doorstep, you do need a car as the nearest major amenities are approx. 8 miles away in Honiton, but once we stocked up it was amazing enjoying the garden and bird life, so peaceful.
Will definitely be recommending this one to friends and family, if it was nearer to us we would be back next week!!!

Dear Ken and Yvonne
Thank you both so much for the amazing review, we are so glad that you felt at home in the cottage. We have tried to make the cottage as if we were living in it and have tried to add all those little things that make it a real home. Every time we meet people like yourselves we feel very honored that you would choose to stay in our cottage. Thank you once again for such a great review we really appreciate you taking the time to give us one. Hope the little ponies have settled in well. Angela and Steve

Lane End Cottage, provided me with the peace and tranquility that my recent life style change needed,
Our hosts Angela & Steve have the ideal location for anyone wishing to just get away from the stresses of life,
Lane End is one of the few places I have been in my life that I was truly sad to leave.
The gardens with its varied array of wild life is mesmerizing.
The stars at night are not spoiled with light pollution a lovely spectacle to be hold.

We like so many others WILL BE BACK

“A quiet, homely retreat with a lovely garden”
Reviewed June 13, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

A lovely cottage within easy striking distance of the south coast.

There was tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and wine on arrival, and a couple of fresh eggs for breakfast on the first day courtesy of the chickens in the garden.

Couldn't ask for anything more.
