My husband and wanted somewhere to stay for a couple of nights while we visited family. What a mistake!!! We should definitely have booked for a week!

We received a warm friendly welcome from Angela and Steve like we'd known them forever. They could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Their cottage is beautiful, warm, spacious and clean. There is a log burner which was already on the go when we arrived. The large kitchen has everything you would need and more. And the bed..... The bed really grips you and doesn't want to let go, the best sleep I've ever had away from home.

Outside there is a huge garden to roam around or just sit and watch the many wild birds that come to feed on the bird tables.

I will definitely be going back to the cottage and will recommend anyone to go there. Our stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you Angela and Steve

“Like a second home”
Reviewed February 7, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Honiton, Axminster and Lyme Regis are 10 minutes away, they're all approached via lovely country roads. There's a street market Tuesdays and Saturdays in Honiton, and there's always half a dozen places to eat in Lyme, as well, of course, as Bob's Sanctuary Bookshop, where - if you love books - you'll spend more than 20 minutes and more than £20!

We had a lovely stay the owners we so friendly, couldn't do enough for us and very kindly left us a bottle of wine. The cottage is very spacious and immaculate. It was nice to sit in the conservatory and look out into the garden. We also enjoyed sitting in front of the log burner. Spent a lovely day in Lyme Regis which was less then half hour away. We felt the cottage was very reasonably priced and would definitely stay again.

“Peaceful and relaxing cottage”
Reviewed January 2, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

We have just spent three nights in Lane End Cottage, celebrating New Year and our silver wedding anniversary. It was perfect, Angela and Steve were so welcoming and kind. They really are the perfect hosts! The log burner made everything so cosy, just the thing on a rainy New Year's Day! We loved watching the birds coming to the feeders including a woodpecker, nut hatch and pheasant! We would recommend a trip to Sidmouth and also the charming tea room at Royal Oak Farm where we had a delicious cream tea. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful, Elizabeth and Jerry

“Perfect Retreat From Everyday Life”
Reviewed January 1, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

When you go away at Christmas you want it to be special and Lane End Cottage was that and more. We "cosied up" in front of the wood burning stove, we snuggled up under the big puffy duvet and warmed our socks on the Aga. Perfect.

Angela and Steve go that extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
