We moved off the Moor about 18 months ago, but this is still the best Sunday roast for miles around. Several choices of meat, large portions of veg and well presented, all at a very good price. Good choice of beers in a pleasant friendly bar.

If you want the real thing in a pub, be sure to visit The Union Inn. Very good reasonable priced authentic "pub grub". On a cold night a table by the fireplace and a plate of their food with something to wash it down with cannot be beaten.

A refreshing change, this pub serves good home cooked food at what is becoming a rarity, a fair price. It's better inside than it looks at first glance, it's a well cared for inn which has recently had some money spent on it. Interestingly, it's been in the same ownership for several generations. A good choice of beers, a wood burning stove gives a warming glow, so there's little not to like here. Worth a visit, pubs like this are becoming scarce.

A traditional pub with history. An excellent menu serving excellent and wholesome food. There are speciallity evenings like 'fish and chips, or lucious steaks'. The beer is good too.
