“Fabulous Dartmoor Falls”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

A wonderful place to visit and gain an understanding of the beauty of Dartmoor. Fabulous scenery and good facilities for refreshments. Slightly awkward for disabled visitors as access is down a steep slope which is very slippery when wet. Would recommend and we will be visiting again.

“I went head over heals for Becky Falls!”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

A beautiful, natural attraction on Dartmoor. When I visited, the sun glinted through the lush greenery and hugged me like a great soft green overcoat. My trek along the course of the waterfalls was beautiful! There is an option of routes to suit most visitors and with an excellent cafe, gift shop and small animal petting area, Becky Falls is great value for its entrance price - highly recommended!

“super day out in a fantastic setting”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

have just got home from a really brilliant day at Becky Falls..as an animal lover I really enjoyed the hands on experience with the animals..they have ponies..goats..rabbits.. guinea pigs..rats..[the gray one I want to bring home].. posh chickens ..pole cats..and teeny weeny pigmy hampsters..for the more brave amongst you.they also have lizards.. spiders..and all sorts of other creepy crawlers.the highlight for me was the 12foot boa constricter what a beast!! Tom and Heidi gave a talk and were brilliant very informative and answered all our questions. such lovely people and. very interesting..The woodlands and falls are truly beautiful.though I wasnt brave enough or agile enough to do some of the walks..they have a really good cafe.very clean and tidy.we had panini and salad which was very tasty..I can't understand the people that moan about the price..I think for what you get it is good value... I wouldnt hesitate to pack the picnic box and head for Becky falls.. a great day out !!

Thank you so much for your brilliant review of your visit - I will pass on your comments to Tom and Heidi (two of our keepers) - they will be thrilled. Also glad you enjoyed the walks, as well as all of our critters! Hope to see you again soon.

“Becky Falls Theme Park”
Reviewed September 11, 2012

We are a family of two adults and two students who visited Becky Falls in Dartmoor for the first time at the end of a lovely holiday in Devon, expecting to have a walk to see a NATURAL feature and perhaps pay £5 to park the car. However we were shocked to discover the price, taking into account student reductions and a £4 discount voucher, was £25! What we hadn't realised was what we assume years ago had been a free natural attraction has been turned into a theme park aimed mainly at families with young children. We enjoyed the walk to see the waterfall but think it is a shame that this natural feature has been commercialised and cannot understand why people like us who just want a walk to see the waterfall can't pay a separate, much cheaper, price.

Thank you for taking the time to review our attraction. Obviously we're disappointed that you found our entry prices to be more than you expected, but we do try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible, and they are completely all-inclusive of all of our shows, activities, etc. We sometimes do get asked whether we could offer a price "just to see the waterfall" but this is not possible, as the falls are set within the park itself and the only way to do so would be to provide escorts for all those people wishing to only visit the falls - I'm afraid it would be impossible to control. We do hope that you nevertheless enjoyed the park and that amenities that your entry fee provided and that you will visit us again.

“Something for everyone”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

Lovely spot with lots to do for families, or couples. Our two men went on the more difficult scramble walk and enjoyed themselves and we girls headed for the gentle river walk, enjoyed the wildlife and then had a coffee watching the animals.

Thanks so much for your review of Becky Falls - sounds like the girls took the sensible option (gentle walk and a coffee) while the men did "manly" things! Indeed something for everyone - hope to see you again soon!
