I feel i have a fiar experience of campsites, having stayed in over 200 different ones since 1980.
Firstly, location great, some staff great, woodlands leisure park great, cant fault it, some thing for everyone, wet or dry weather. camping site in general clean, all bins emptied every morning, some staff very friendly and helpful. thats all the good points.
Arrived on site, waited 20mins in pouring rain to be shown to pitch, fairly good size approx 30ftx15ft. The toilets and shower blocks were disgusting, would rather shower in the rain and use the hedge! floors in toilets always dirty, stunk very badly, as if never cleaned, showers freezing cold.
Luckily our pitch was a decent size, our next door neighbours had paid for 2 pitches but were made to cram 2 family size tents onto 1 pitch, electric feed kept trippin off, noisy site up untill about 12:30-1:30am. some staff riding around in golf karts very fast.
would never stay here again or reccomend to anyone.
yes use the woodlands leisure park, but not camp.
