Stayed here as part of my son's Cub Camp which I volunteered to help with and I'll admit I was dreading as I'm not a big lover of camping. However the campsite was beautifully maintained, lots of space for the kids to play games and not get in the way of other campers. There were electrical points, drinking water facilities, shower block and toilets so if you're not a fan of getting completely back to nature this Campsite will suit you. Easy walking distance of the theme park which of course kids of all ages love and considering we stayed on one of the hottest days this summer - plenty of shady playing areas under the trees. My only complaint was that on the second morning of our stay, the drinking water for the campsite was turned off - I'd heard a rumour it was because lots of campers were using it to fill up water pistols. If this was the case rather than it being a maintenance / technical problem then I do think that was quite irresponsible seeing as temperatures reached 30 degrees that weekend and we, along with other campers, had young children to try and keep hydrated. However, saying that, we had no problems with getting drinks bottles topped up with water for free down in the theme park after we explained the situation to the cafe staff. I would recommend this campsite very much and we are hoping to book again as a family.
