We stopped here on a whim as it looked like there was space available. We both had moules frites with wine for a special of £9.95 each. It was delicious! Lots of muscles, plenty of thin chips and the wine was tasty too. A quality lunch for a great price. The staff were very polite and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Mediocre pub grub in very small portions.
Left hungry and disapointed, defiantly living off the name.

However the "Rick Stein" fish&chip shop smelt epic! Probably as we were left so hungry.

Took my partner here whilst we were on holiday in Cornwall. It was a "book night" with recipes from one of Rick's books. A set menu with 3 options each for starter, main and dessert. Lovely salted cod - we both enjoyed the meal and the ambiance - busy even on a Tuesday night - but not crowded. Good value for £77 including 3 courses and wine and bread on the table. Would definitely recommend and go again (this was my second visit here and third Rick Stein restaurant).

I went there for lunch today and was disappointed by the Pho Noodles, they didn't have any flavour and noodles were hard, though I was told by the waiter that's how they are meant to be - though that's not how they are served in Vietnam. Good points - the decor and waiters were friendly.

Mmm the softest, lightest, crispest and creamiest fish I have ever tasted. Thank you Rick Stein's chippy. My fussy children absolutely wolfed it down!!
