It is great to read feedback on the new showers that we built in 2013; we’re pleased that you liked them. Furthermore, to hear that you found the site very clean and that the pitches were of a good size is very pleasing. Thank you for taking the time to share your view. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to our family’s site in the future.

We stayed over the recent bank-holiday weekend and had a brilliant time. The campsite is located just off the camel-trail and took 5-10 minutes to walk into Padstow. The toilets and showers were absolutely spotless, as was the whole site in general. We found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Depending on which pitch you get, there is a slight slope, but it's not awful and everything else more than makes up for it. We'll certainly be heading back there on our next trip to Padstow.

Ideally located right next to the camel trail. Just a short 5/10 minute walk into Padstow. Shame about the slope, I did seem to spend half the night wriggling around in my sleeping bag.
My friend and I had a few drinks in town one evening and, although a little spooky, we felt perfectly fine walking back in the dark (the torch was needed though).
Friendly staff and immaculate facilities (toilets/showers might be a bit cold in spring/autumn though).
Would stay again but I'd ask for a flat pitch next time.

Thank you for taking the time to review our family’s campsite. Other than taking the opportunity to benefit from our location, we are pleased that you found the staff friendly and the facilities clean. Should you decide to visit it us again in the future, please do remember to request a flatter pitch since we will always do our utmost to accommodate campers’ preferences and requests for specific pitches.

We stayed for a week in August with our own tent. The location of the campsite is perfect, right on the camel trail and only a ten minute walk into the beautiful Padstow, it couldnt have been better. There is a tesco a 5 min drive away and plenty to see and do in the area. The owners were really friendly and couldnt have been more helpful. This is a great family site, its basically one lane with pitches on either side, a bit like a street! The pitches are close together and cars have to be parked up in front of the pitches so its pretty busy and there is no privacy. We got moved up to the overflow field which had better views and was much quieter which we preferred. There is only one toilet block and drinking water tap so be aware that it is a is a trek if you are in the overflow field. Great for families and kids, not so much for couples, i felt that at £20 a night plus extra for showers it was a little overpriced given the very basic facilities etc.

This was a impulse stop and most likely the best site we ever found!
It was our only camping trip this year and we had 3 nights (The weather put us off the rest of the summer).
The site was well kept and the showers and toilets very clean and plenty of hot water. There is even a family shower room, which is great with a 4 year old. The staff were very accomodating in let us pay in the morning for the next night, in case the weather changed for the worst (it never did).
Its about 1 mile out from Padstow on the Camel trail, which is great in the day, but at night take a torch!! it is very dark and there are no lights on the site or road to it.
On a plus the view from the top of the field is great, but can be windy!! And the walk to the toilet/shower block was at the bottom of the hill and out of the field.
But to us this was what camping is about, a field, the stars and a bacon butty in the morning cooked with a view!!

Dennis Cove is an excellent site, just 10 minutes along a level path from the centre of Padstow. The site has views over the estuary and surrounding Cornish countryside. This is a relatively small site with one toilet and shower block, but is it clean and well maintained. Only three showers each in the ladies and gents meant some queueing. The showers also operate on a token system that are bought from reception. This is a good guarantee of hot water but can be a pain if you run out of tokens and reception is closed. All in all I would thoroughly recommend Dennis Cove and I sure we will be returning.

Stayed with my husband at Dennis Cove in Padstow in June 2012. Really friendly and accommodating service. Excellent location, easy 10 minute walk into Padstow. The main field was a little cramped so if you are looking for a bit more privacy see if the overspill field is open and ask for a pitch there. Bathroom facilities basic but adequate, you need to buy a 40p token for 5 minutes in the shower.
