This time we stayed in Prospect House, a three minute walk from St Petroc's itself, where breakfast is taken. Parking is another 2 minutes away, all very doable in Padstow. If you can, avoid High season in Padstow; it's madness, May-June and September are far more pleasant. The only blemish to our stay was the temperamental lift, which the maintenance staff were quick to sort out. The rooms at Prospect House are above street level and accessible by steps, a lift gives buggy and wheelchair access, which makes it all ideal when the lift is working, when not a pain. As ever the rooms are light, airy and well appointed, a minor blemish is that the hairdryer does not reach the mirror (or so my wife says!). We ate at the Bistro, after a day of seafood at the school a meal without fish provided variety. A restful stay; staff are polite, attentive without being over the top.In short thoroughly recommended.

Prospect house is just a short walk away from St Petroc’s Hotel. The room was fresh, airy and clean. Breakfast was served in the St Petroc’s restaurant. There was a good choice of food and it was very good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room includes parking which was a 5 minute walk around the corner. We would happily stay here again.

Another amazing visit, staff very attentive and food to a very high standard. We highly recommend the hake for the main meal and the mackerel on toast for a start was divine. 10 out of 10. A lovely atmosphere for all members of the family especially in the lounge while having drinks. The staff were also very helpful in explaining the meal in further detail. This was our third visit and we will definitely be returning again!!!!!

The hotel is in a really good, central location. Parking is very close (St Edmunds Road) and if you have a reasonably small car it's easy enough to park in, if you have a large car parking at St Edmunds House would be easier.

We stayed in the St Issey room which although small was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was really nice with a lovely selection. We had a really nice night at this hotel and I would highly recommend it.

The hotel is centrally situated with parking available nearby. It is very different in that it is tastefully eccentric in it's layout. It is very comfortable, and the bedroom we had was at the top with an amazing view of Padstow harbour. It had a lovely shower, and a deep bath in the middle of the room if you're an exhibitionist!

Room Tip: Ask for the garret room it has an amazing view even if the stairs with suitcases is a little difficult to negotiate!
