This is the first time I've gone to a restaurant because of the trip advisor reviews. Well done everyone- I sat there wondering how they managed to get it so right- just couldn't fault it- even how the seating is maximised for a small space, how they kept it light. Really friendly staff- I can confirm that we were asked to wait outside for a table and were never rushed. But most of all, the food is really home made and it's really really good. I had fluffy pancakes with bacon, grilled bananas and maple syrup.
Emma, what's the spice you put in your red cabbage coleslaw?

We searched Trip advisor for the best place to have lunch in Padstow, and we sure were not disappointed. We had a crab sandwich and a toasted panini, with a side of sauted new pots on the side.... so it does not sound so glamorous, but it was seriously the best panini I have had...it was what you would imagine from the perfect little lunch spot. Great views over the harbour and I so recommend you leave room for cake... the BEST selection of home made cakes... hard to choose and will definitely return.

Staff were great too and full of suggestions of where to go when you have been fed and watered.

We had our second visit to Cherry Trees on Saturday 3rd November :)
This place is a gem!

Friendly helpful staff, located right on the harbour-side in Padstow.
The menu is extensive, everything looked amazing :)
Unfortunately this visit we only had time (and belly space) for a few coffees and cakes.
My homemade carrot cake was to die for!!!

I'll definitely be visiting again and this time we'll stay for lunch!!

A kind shop assistant in Padstow, when we asked where she would recommend as a lunchtime venue, directed us to the Cherry Trees. How could we have possibly missed this jewel in Padstow before?! A warm welcome greeted us during the busy autumn half term. The five of us were seated immediately at the very last table available. We were delivered our first choices from the menu and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. It was the perfect place for us today and will certainly return for another treat in the future.

This is a lovely little cafe with excellent service from staff and very good food. We shared a steak pasty which came with some rather scrummy coleslaw and a cream tea. The scones were homemade and tasted lovely with a generous serving of jam and clotted cream. We may have to go back to pick up backs slice of the delicious looking Victoria sponge!
