“Just Beautiful, We Loved our Stay”

To echo the other reviews. We stayed in Bay Room, with a gorgeous view, lovely sash windows and bright seaside chic decor.
The bathroom was beautifully clean with a good shower and the towels and bedding were crisp and clean.
We were greated with a cream tea and then cakes each afternoon, there were tea and 'proper' coffee facilities in the room and the use of a communal sitting area. There is a fridge in the room with complimentary wine and water and space for your own things.
Breakfast was beautiful, well presented and perfectly cooked. A short stroll into Padstow there was nothing that wasn't great.
I'd highly recommend a stay.

We stayed here for three nights last weekend. We had a lovely stay - nice room (Cove Room) with super roll top bath, great service and breakfasts plus delicious scones on arrival and then various cake related treats each afternoon we were there! Is in a perfect location just 2 mins walk from town with unrestricted parking and very quiet street. Thanks to all for a lovely stay.

One nights stay simply wasn't enough.
My partner and I enjoyed every single second whilst staying at Treann House and Padstow.
Our room (The Estuary) was classic, romantic and chic all in one. The stunning bedroom furniture along with the crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels really endorse the room and stunning view across the estuary.
Emma's welcome was heart felt and her pleasure in how beautiful Treann House is visable.
Little touches in the room on arrival like a chilled bottle of white wine and fresh cream teas set us up for a perfect stay.
Parking was easy for us, however I can see this being a small problem in busier periods.
The stroll down to Padstow took no longer than five minutes.
Breakfast was well made, and the fact we could utilise the balcony on a glorious morning by eating outside ended our stay amazingly.
Why oh why didn't I book more than one night? Perfect.

Room Tip: The Estuary room with its stunning views and fantastic bedroom furniture.

Don't want to repeat what everyone else has said, but agree with all the good ones! Lovely room (Bay Room) looking out over the bay, simple but classy decor, mostly white, bare wood floor. Good quality bed linen and towels really make a difference, and feather pillows appreciated too. Tea and coffee facilities, cake at teatime, complementary wine in the fridge, jug of drinking water on the shelf as well as water in the fridge, and lovely toiletries. Breakfast great quality, nice to be able to choose the night before. There was a very pleasant sitting room for guests use as well, wish I'd had time to do so.

As warned on the website – or perhaps it was by the proprietress? – parking is on the street, and we did indeed end up parking a block away. But it was worth trundling our suitcases down the street, to find one of the most romantically simple rooms we’ve ever had. Make no mistake, the room was well-kept, although the Tardis-style shower was not bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside – it could only fit one adult (ask us how we know). And at first, the uncovered dark-wooden floor in our room in this old house made the room look plain. But then you open the drapes, and there is your own small covered balcony, and a broad view over the lowering rooftops to the Estuary. From your room you can watch the sandbars appear and disappear as the tide rises and falls (at least 10 feet!). This is truly A Room With A View. Despite the rainy weather, we once ate our Rick Stein fish-and-chips out on the balcony, just for the fresh sea air.

Let’s talk about location; just a short downhill walk brings you to the center of the inner harbor area of Padstow. We really warmed to our room, and we highly recommend Treann House. The traditional English breakfasts were solid, too, and our hosts helped us arrange a reservation with a seabird-watching trip – they knew the operator by name, even which pub he would be in after work! That’s Padstow – a small town with big character.

We stayed at Trean House in Padstow for three days. The B&B has just three rooms: one at the back and a larger one at the front with its own balcony together with a slightly smaller one with a bay window. All rooms are beautifully turned out in white with pleasingly subdued pictures and mirrors on the walls, and containing exactly the things you need: a large double bed, a cupboard with a fridge and a safe and enough space for your clothes, too. A small table containing glasses, cups and coffee mugs with the usual water heater. The bathroom contains all you need including waffle bathrobes and fluffy towels. The bed was perfect, the radio and ipod dock functioned and the view over the Padstow Bay just blew us away. The young girls serving breakfast were cheerful and helpful - and the breakfast was a real treat with greek youghurt, fresh fruit salad, cereals and a choice of cooked breakfasts that you choose the day before and leave in the entrance hall at night. It's pricey, but it's excellent - clean and bright.

Room Tip: We would choose one of the front rooms for the views - and they are quiet, there's no noise from...

Great location, close enough to walk into town, far enough away from the noise and the crowds.
Our room was pleasant and spacious with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The cooked breakfast was good and everyone we met was welcoming.
I'm not sure I'd quite class the Treann as luxury, at least not if you consider luxury to be top-end contemporary furnishings as you get in the rooms at Rick Stein's various places but then we paid £100 less for our night than we would have paid at Steins so we were perfectly happy and I considered it to be good value for money. I guess it depends on your expectations. I would gladly stay again.
