Highly recommended!

The usual policy is for a minimum stay of two nights, but Gary was happy to accommodate us for just a single night as he had availability.

We stayed in the Pink Room. Although it's to the rear and one of the smaller rooms, it was immaculate, looked after superbly and even came with a decanter of sherry. We had a cup of tea on the patio at the front in the evening and chatted to some other guests, overlooking the estuary, which was really nice and relaxing.

Breakfast was brought in to the room, which was unusual but a nice touch. We opted for the kipper and smoked haddock, which were delicious and served with toast with a selection of jams made from the fruits in the garden.

Gary is extremely friendly and justifiably proud of his hotel - we had a good chat with him in the morning and he even showed us his best room upstairs with an amazing view.

Even though it was for only one night, it was a very special stay and we will definitely be booking again (dependent on availability, as it's understandably extremely popular)!

Room Tip: For something extra special, the rooms on the top floors with views across the estuary are amazing!

Great location with proximity to everything in Padstow and private guest parking. Great room (turret) with impressive views of the Camel and Rock. Breakfast with home made jams, served in the room a treat. Smoked haddock was very good. Would love to come back again

We can very hightly recommended Treverbyn House - We stayed for 2 nights in the lilac room - the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast can be taken in the dining room or in your room for no extra cost - an unusual little treat. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and served by very friendly and cheery staff. Also try out Rojano's Italian restaurant - we liked it so much we ate there both nights!

We go to Treverbyn House regularly for birthdays and anniversaries. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre and Steins Seafood Restaurant.

We always have the Turret room but other members of the group use the Yellow and Green rooms, all are well equiped but in keeping with the style of the house, comfortable and have lovely views. Breakfast is a joy and can be served in your room, in the dining room or on the terrace in good weather. Really enjoyed Gary's home made jam's and marmalade, in fact I asked for extra toast to make the most of the selection on our visit this year.

The house is welcoming and relaxed, and each time we go small improvements have been made to what is offered. For example on our first visit many years ago, we asked if champagne could be left in the fridge for later in the evening. On arriving back from Steins we found a tray, with champagne glasses and the bottle encased in an iced cooling sleeve by the door of our room. Next time we went there was a fridge on the landing, on our latest visit they have put a fridge in the room as well.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent, however, Turret, Yellow and Green have the views of the estuary but are a b...

Just above Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant, good views of the estuary. We stayed in the Turret room which has a fireplace, and a lovely sitting area in the turret itself. Comfortable bed with very nice bathroom.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Treverbyn House last week.
Imposing Victorian building with fantastic views of the estuary and a great location for the busy bustling town-car parking off road another distinct advantage.
Gary managed to let us have the Yellow room for 1 night and the Green for two.
The Yellow room is beautiful with great elevated views and a bath that is the biggest and oldest we have seen.
The Green room is below the Yellow but still has lovely views.
The breakfasts are excellent and served in the room where you can enjoy the spectacular views from the large bay windows.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms with an estuary view are very good but availability may be an issue-book early
