We recently spent 3 wonderful days in the Shepherds Hut at Mill Valley and it was perfect. Lisa and Neil couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming and the hut was so cosy and comfortable. The flowers and lanterns were such a nice touch and we had everything we needed.
We loved the beautifully constructed bathrooms and enjoyed the novelty of stoking up the wood burner before a candle lite soak.
The site is beautiful and there are some stunning walks nearby. The local pubs are very friendly and it's a good base for venturing over to nearby Padstow.
We can't wait to return and enjoy this special place again soon!

We stayed in Mill Valley for our honeymoon, with the kids! It was our first stay in a yurt and we were completely taken with it, we stayed in Acorn yurt and it was totally beautiful. It had 3 good sized and comfortable beds, and was really nicely decorated with tables, flowers and lanterns....very romantic!
Outside there was an undercover area for when it rained, so we could keep cooking on the fire despite the weather.
The outdoor bathroom was incredibly idyllic too, and we loved the fact that you had to light the stove to heat the water (even tho that's what we do at home!)

We loved it, the kids loved it, the dog loved it....what more could you ask?

We spent a wonderful weekend in The Romantic Yurt. This is a very well run and beautiful site, an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. I would defiantly return to and recommend Mill Valley Yurts. Lisa and Neil will go out of their way to ensure that you have the perfect stay and they have created something that is very special. It is clear that a lot of love has gone into making sure that the Yurts are perfect for guests. They are cosy and very well equipped with lots of pots, pans and cutlery and we had lots of fun cooking on the campfire! The Yurts are excellent value for money and offer a chance to relax away from ‘normal’ life.
