We were visiting the Eden Project and also wanted to explore Padstow so Wadebridge seemed a good place to stay.
This family home appeared to have the bedrooms downstairs with the living space above. Our bedroom (The Highbury) was at the front of the house under the sitting room. There was no noise from traffic as the road is a quiet, residential street. Our room was nicely decorated and we both enjoyed the bathroom where there is a separate bath and shower (I liked the little, blue lights around the large bath and made use of the selection of bubble bath). The bed was massive and comfortable. There were tea & coffee making facilities and some chocolate snacks.
Breakfast was served upstairs in the mostly open-plan living area on a big round wooden table with open views towards hills in the north part of wadebridge. Very stylish kitchen. Breakfast selection was very good and we enjoyed it all very much. Thank you.
We didn't manage to eat out in Wadebridge as the one place that looked good was shut that evening. Found a very nice restaurant in Padstow called Pescadou - great food and wine.
The owners were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing.
We were able to park our car in the driveway.More
