The food was good but not outstanding, the service was rather rushed, giving you the impression that they wanted the customers out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. As most of the place where you can eat in North Berwick are closed in the evening, this is a perfectily decent place to dine.

As a regular visitor to North Berwick it was a delight to dine again in the redesigned and decorated Bella Italia. The food, wine and service were as ever very good. It deserves to be higher up the list on reliability grounds.

Had a Sunday evening meal with my wife as walk in guests. We were well cared for by the staff, and to food and wine were good for the price.

We ate here today for lunch. We had the £8.95 lunch menu. Every part of it was perfection. And we have eaten in many Italian restaurants, including in Rome. The service was welcoming and friendly as was our Waitress. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was extremely efficient and the food was excellent. My husband chose the garlic mushrooms for a starter, and I had the salmon cornets with prawns. Both were delicious. Followed by the cannelloni, with spinach and meat, absolutely wonderful. The cheesecake was beyond delightful and the coffees finished off a perfect lunch. We had the house Merlot and it was a very good choice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, many diners also enjoying the pleasant ambience. The toilets were spotlessly clean.

We will certainly return to enjoy more of this lovely establishment.
