I don't know how big this beach is, but we obviously came at low tide and it seemed to go on for miles. The car park nearest the beach is a fair step from the harbour town itself but is very close to the beach. The old mine just outside the car park is worth a photo but just over the dune is a huge beach of golden sand. We went on a sunny midweek day outside of school holidays and the car park was pretty full - but the beach is so large that there was plenty of space. You could try to build the largest sand castle you could want and you would not impinge on our neighbours at all!
