Beautiful, beautiful place. Wrap up warm on a winter Sunday and walk amongst the dunes and down to the waters edge. This place is awesome! Be prepared for expensive parking in the Summer - but it is so worth it!

We are delighted to read you review and thank you for posting your kind words. A beautiful place indeed and a pefect haven at any time of the year. Don't be put off by the all day car parking charge of £5.50 as this also includes free same day entry to Holkham Park (just opposite the beach) and another fantastic place to visit.

Holkham is heart achingly beautiful at any time of year and the nature reserve gives it double the interest.

The birdwatching was fabulous as were the views, despite the rain. The hides are good, although the one further away is a treetop type, so liking heights helps!!

Thank you for writing a review on Trip Advisor. The spectacle of geese at this time of the year is amazing and we are glad to read that you had an opportunity to see them on the Nature Reserve. Hope you managed to keep dry!

This is one of my favourite beaches and I like it especially in the winter when it is not too crowded. We parked in Lady Anne's Drive and paid for an hour (£2). As the wind was coming from the west we walked on the path between the fields and the pine woods, seeing and hearing all the geese. At Jordans Hide we went through the woods and over the dunes to the wonderful expanse of sand and sea. With the wind behind us, we walked back to the carpark, enjoying the scenery and the fresh Norfolk air. The walk took us just over an hour and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Windy and rugged, great cold HUGE beach! Terrific for a windswept walk. Get to the Victoria pub to warm up afterwards...
