Lovely, old historical house situated right on the East Quay. Quiet location yet within easy reach of all the amenities of Wells-next-the-Sea. Breakfast was superb! Tasty, thick smoked bacon, fresh new laid eggs (the hens belong to the owner), excellent locally sourced sausage and the best fried bread. This was preceded by fresh fruit salad and thick greek yogurt. We enjoyed the shared table but could see that some guests may be irritated by "morning chatter". If you are not a morning person, don't expect to be able to sit on your own at breakfast!
The 4 poster bed room is the best room, with great views over the creek although I found the mattress a bit soft for my liking (I am fussy and used to a high quality pocket spring mattress at home). The house is also very warm and cosy - we stayed during one of the coldest days of the year and it was lovely and warm. I would stay again and would recommend this B&B. The North Norflok coast is well worth a visit.
