Description: The Ffolkes has been lovingly refitted and restructured with a £2m investment during early 2017. Think Poldark, think pewter, copper, Hessian, leather, soft velvet, and rustic wood. We have taken down barriers and let in the light to create a comfortable open space with nooks and crannies to suit even the most discerning of travellers. Join us from 7am through to 9pm for all-day dining. We are positioned on the main A149 Lynn Road, 3 miles from Sandringham Norfolk with a large free car park to the rear.

The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. The service was excellent. We only had the main breakfast and coffees and juice although we could also have take muffins. Good place to start out a long journey.

Myself and my wife had a lovely meal here. The table service was great and the food was lovely too. Definitely worth a visit if your ever in Norfolk. I would highly recommend the Ffolkes.

We stopped here on our last family visit to Norfolk and timed it right for lunch again. Well stocked bar, tasty food, indoor games room and huge outdoor play area (wish mine were younger to fully enjoy it). Restaurant part of Norfolk Passport scheme, well worth applying for. 10%off.

Dreadful menu, dreadful staff, lack of management and mediocre food. Very surprised this is in the same Company as Pigs at Edgefield and Byfolds of Holt. Needs new management and new direction, hope so as children’s play area fantastic!!

Upon check-in we were greeting by confusion as the hotel check-in is actually the bad which was rather odd!

The room we stayed in (room 6) was excellent and clearly a lot of time and effort had gone in to the quality of the accommodation.

We went down to dinner that was pre booked and was sat at a table directly at the bad which was not the best of starts for what was designed to be a relaxing weekend away with my wife. It took 20 minutes to get a member of staff to us, we ordered drinks and the meals at the same time as we didn't fancy waiting another 20! The starter turned up around 15 mins later, still having not been served a drink! Staff were miserable, unfriendly and rather uninspiring, with the member of bar staff behind the bar finding it apt to throw a wet bar cloth over the counter and onto the floor near our table. The lady working found it highly funny only to the clock us realising we had just seen then found it appropriate to be overtly apologetic which was the fakest reaction I have ever seen. Apart from the rosemary foccacia starter which was just stale bread with no taste at all, the food however was top quality.

Full marks to the chefs, if only the waiting staff had an ounce of the same quality we would consider returning. Sadly the staff on the floor were so poor I wouldn't return despite being a Norfolk passport holder. I would highly recommend the Norfolk Passport team send the Byfords staff here to teach them how to do it properly.
