The deer safari was lovely & the kids were very excited about hand feeding the deer. They also fed baby lambs, collected eggs, patted goats and horses. And who would have thought sheep shearing could be so entertaining!! The time spent here was well worth the money, and the staff were all really friendly.

We really enjoyed the deer safari and thought it was well worth the money. It was £10 per person although kids under 3 went free. We also went into the farm (£8 per person, or £16 per person as a combined ticket with the safari) which I did think was on the expensive side of average, however I liked that they didn't shy away from the fact it was a working farm, and our little girl enjoyed bottle feeding a lamb and grooming a pony. It's a shame some of the land has been sold as barn conversions as I got the impression there was more to do before. As it is now there is nothing which is really suitable for bad weather - it was sunny while we were there though so didn't matter!

Arrived and paid £65 for two adults and three children. Initially I have to admit that I thought we had wasetd our money as there didn't really seem much to see and do.

However, it was decpetive! The girls groomed a pony for a while and then we watched the "sheep show" which was surprisingly fun and educational and ended with a shearing demonstration.

Later the children all got the chance to bottle feed some lambs which they totally loved. The calf feeding was not interactive but interesting.

The highlight, other than the lamb feeding, was the deer safari. Plenty of time feeding and stroking the herd from the wagon and interesting commentary.

Would have given five stars but for the cafe. They are not really equipped to cope with the numbers they had that day , which wasnlt that many! It took us nearly and hour to wait to order, have delivered and eat some baguettes and a jacket potato. Food was above average for its type and very tasty but service very slow, even though friendly.

So started off looking like a "miss" but we really had a lovely day and the children loved it.

Went to the Farm Park on a rainy morning. Everyone we met was friendly... We had plenty of time to see all the animals, ponies, goats, tortoises, lambs, calves, pigs.while fitting in the sessions arranged by the park. My kids are totally entranced by electronic games, so it was wonderful to see their faces as they bottle fed lambs, they both ( 6 and 8) loved it.

We had lunch at the cafe, very clean, great food as well.

The deer safari was excellent and we were able to handfeed the deer as they came to the trailer, we also saw some of the babies.

All in all it was a great day out, kept us occupied for 5 hours without an argument (unheard of !) and we all enjoyed it.

The cafe and facilities were all clean and well presented, and the staff ( especially the very youngest guide!) were all great .. very informative and very professional

Really lovely place, great farm shop and lots to do for the kids. The trip to see the deer was great and lots of babies on the way so go soon and you may be honoured enough to see one or two.
