Went for a wander around Kings Lynn in the evening when the town was quiet and we could park easily. Discovered this stunning building near the quay side. Tourist information was on the ground floor however at the time we visited it was closed.
Would have liked to have learnt more about this building and its history, unfortunately we were travelling on the next day. Definitely worth another look on a different occasion.

The ground floor of this building is used as the Tourist Information Office whose staff are friendly and helpful. On the upper two floors is a fascinating exhibition about the buildings history which we enjoyed exploring. At only £1 for entrance, it was an informative experience.

I wanted information about the facilities King's Lynn had to offer. The staff in the Tourist Information Office were courteous and helpful both face to face and following up my enquiry by sending me leaflet. It is rare to be given this standard of service and I am very grateful. It made my long-weekend break in the town very much better.

A friendly staff greeted us, the price was only a pound and the little one got in for free. There was a game for my child which kept him interested and allowed me time to look around. The museum is quite small but enough to find out about kings lynn history. At the end we even won q price for the quiz. Didn't take long to look around, but time well spent.

Lovely 17th Century Building designed for the traders of King's Lynn . Great area with historic warehouses on the River Great Ouse . It acts as the Tourist Information Centre.
Outside is a statue of George Vancouver who was born in King's Lynn and joined the British Navy and explored North America , the Pacific West Coast as well Australia and Hawaii . A City , Island , and a Mountain are all named after him . There is a museum inside but because the weather was so good we saved it for next time
