Spur of the moment booking as our usual Indian was closed at the time we were passing. Simple exterior, smart interior, very welcoming, attractive place settings. Menu was interesting with several unusual choices, the meals were serve 'on the plate' which is a first for me. Food was attractively presented.
We enjoyed the meals in the most part however, we felt that the meals were a little too sweet, particularly the tandoori mixed grill which was served covered in a sweet sticky sauce (another first). We all (4) felt that the meals lacked 'chilli' bite. They were supposed to be medium hot but were the mildest 'mediums' we had ever eaten. We, none of us, like food to be over hot but these were just a little too mild for our taste. All this said, the food was very tasty and well prepared.
Service was faultless and prompt.
Restaurant is rather small, and was rather noisy during our visit but that can vary from hour to hour/day to day.
Would we visit again? Possibly not as food is always a personal thing and this was just a little too sweet for us.
