Three cheese ploughmans was a perfect lunch. We sat outside as the weather was warm and dry. Loose leaf earl grey tea delicious. The selection of tea was amazing - we will have to return to try some different ones. Staff were helpful without being intrusive.

Friendly staff and the lemon drizzle cake was lovely. Loved the pot of "proper" tea poured into bone china cups. We sat on the middle level as we didn't want the blast of cold air every time the rather stiff door opened. However it was cold on that level too. Maybe we should have tried the top level, who knows. We could see there was a selection of teas available but there was no menu for them on the table. Overall a friendly cafe with good tea and cakes.

We went here for a baby's shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. Freshly made cakes and good selection of scones, jams and tea.

It's bigger than it looks from outside, with tables on three levels and a couple outside at the back, and when we called they were all occupied. Despite this, the service was good and the food nice. It's mostly snacks and cakes, with afternoon tea, sandwiches and panini, although hey do offer breakfasts. The great attraction is the superb range of proper tea, and not just Earl Grey and other flavoured blends. Lapsang, oolong and orange pekoe are amongst the varieties on offer, so a great place to experiment with something unfamiliar.

Lovely late lunch at Florences on Friday. Always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the wide choice of treats. Took home some jam and just enjoyed with croissants. A great example of local business at its best. Look forward to our next trip.
