what a very pleasant lunchtime experience we had here. I have been ere before for lunch but my husband hadnt, so we decided to stop off ere for a lunch. It is a very pleasant setting, with wonderful views over Coltishall Broad, and its lovely to watch the boats go by and the geese and swans and generally watch the world go by. Lovely pub grub as well, I had a fresh crab sandwich and a bowl of chips and my husband had chicken burger and chips I had J20 apple and mango and My husband had a pint of ale came to about £20. This pub is lovely for a pub lunch and in a delightful setting

This pub gets very busy especially when the 'boat people' drift in on the River Bure from Wroxham during holiday times. As the food is freshly cooked, there might be a wait for your meal, but sitting outside with a drink and with the river a few feet away, dream awhile watching the swans and a myriad of other water birds plus an otter family if you are lucky. There is a fairly comprehensive menu, lots of snug little areas for inside eating when the weather changes and pleasant staff so I am impressed as to how much the place has improved over the years. Not too pricey either - do give it a try if you are passing.

Firstly dogs not allowed inside anywhere, we arrived about 12.30pm on a windy Sunday got menus I had crab salad my wife and mother in law wanted the advertised on the menu Sunday Lunch waited to be served at the bar (No table service) at least 15mins to order food and drink with several people trying to push in the line. Returned to say to the mother in law Sunday lunch not served in the summer!! so had to line up again for a further 20 minutes food arrived after 20mins or so. salad good other food ok, no condiments offered so had borrow from another table and one knife and fork missing another visit to the bar. These broads riverside pubs are truly arrogant guaranteed customers so why do I care about customer service!!

Visited this place in the summer for a meal with family, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff were all very friendly, the place has been done up since the last time we visited and they have added a lovely patio area outside. We will definitely be back in the near future

A good pub meal with a varied menu and with a choice of veg or chips in a great location overlooking the river and watching the boats drift by on a sunny day, what more could you need!
