“Good honest food and good service”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

I've always been a lover of Adnams beer and as the White Horse proudly displays an Adnams sign outside it was the obvious choice for a Friday supper.
The furnishings and decorations are typical fishing village and, most acceptable. Service was efficient and friendly and we felt very welcome.
The menu is fairly limited, although what there was on the menu was excellent with a lovely pork belly starter followed by a huge portion of fish with the ubiquitous chips! Good British food!
Next time I am in the area I shall definitely eat here again.

“Pleasant pub meal”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

Enjoyable meal .Seated at a pleasant clean table .Meal arrived after about fifteen minutes freshly cooked and nicely served. Our steaks were cooked to our liking and quite flavoursome.Several staff came to see if our meal was o.k.
Meal price wasn't too bad for an expensive town ......this was a pub meal at a pub price and fitted the bill nicely.

“Something is wrong here...”
Reviewed June 24, 2014 via mobile

Dropped in for a drink early last Sunday evening.

Although it was 6:45 by the time we left there were barely any customers in the place (maybe 4 in the bar and 2 in the restaurant). 'Buzzing' it was not.

Something very odd has happened here.

“Excellent service but 'brown' lettuce spoilt a good caesar salad...”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

We enjoyed a delicious first course of tiger prawns with spicy dipping sauce but my main course of chicken caesar salad proved a bit disappointing - when I had eaten the top half (wgich was very tasty) I discovered that the bottom layer of salad leaves were all brown around the edges and along the main stem. They were clearly a bit past their use by date and our waiter agreed - message came back from the chef that they were just 'a bit close to going off, not actually off' although he did apologise. Put us off returning again during our stay in this lovely Norfolk village,
