“Wedding Anniversary treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2013

I was looking for somewhere special for my husband and me to spend our 4th wedding anniversary; I was not disappointed in what Seaham Hall had to offer us. Every staff member who we came into contact with, whether it was housekeeping or the staff at the spa, was both friendly and polite and seemed dedicated to making our stay feel special. The spa facilities were good and would I definitely recommend having a facial done by a young lady called Sarah. The restaurant food was delicious, the beds were REALLY comfy, the shower was so adjustable and refreshing. The whole experience left us feeling very relaxed. Thank you Seaham Hall.

Recently stayed at SHH. My wife found this hotel on the internet which can often be a source of questionable quality. SHH excelled at every turn. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The warm welcome, helpful staff and attention to detail meant that this will become a firm favorite above many more established 5star destinations. The redecoration shows time and money have been spent wisely all leading to an excellent experience. The cocktail bar and restaurant were fantastic.
Would I stay here again - yes, without hesitation!

Just had a wonderful day at the Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall. A while ago it was looking very tired and shabby but has had a complete facelift. New chairs, towels and lockers in the pool area. All good quality. Food at the Ozone restaurant delicious and all the staff were most helpful. A very relaxing and restful day. I will definitely be visiting again for a battery recharge! Thank you everyone.

Wonderful place to get away relax , be pampered and generally have a brilliant stay. Gorgeous rooms, with sumptuous beds and bathrooms. Helpful friendly staff, the most beautiful spa facilities I ve ever been to. Breakfast in your rooms is included but the eggs were overlooked and the decaf coffee very weak, but I was so relaxed by then I didn't care!

From the moment we arrived we felt enveloped in a world of luxury, where our every need was taken care of & nothing was too much trouble. We'd booked for one night, & reached the hotel about 1pm. We were told our room wouldn't be ready until the stated check in time of 3pm, but we were shown through to where we could leave our luggage & then we headed down to the Spa. Here we lazed by the pool in our toweling robes, swam a few laps, sipped the complimentary chilled water, read a few of the glossy magazines provided, & sat for ages in the outdoor hot tub enjoying the needle like sensation of ice cold gentle rain on our shoulders whilst the rest of our bodies were soothed by the gently bubbling waters. Eventually we dragged ourselves away & were shown up to our amazing Junior Suite - wow! A nice soak in the double ended bath, then down for drinks in the Drawing Room & dinner in Blunos Grill. The food was good, & beautifully presented, but a hideous price. Back in our room we lit the candles already in place on the mantelpiece, made coffee with the inroom Nespresso machine, & watched some TV on the massive wall-mounted plasma screen. The bed was huge & extremely comfortable, the curtains suitably darkening & the environs wonderfully peaceful - all of which made for a great night's sleep. Next morning we had a fantastic room service breakfast whist enjoying the seaview from our double aspect windows, then gathered up our belongings & reluctantly checked out. Would definitely recommend this as a special treat location, & a big thank you to every single member of staff who were unfailing corteous & helpful, a major contribution to making our stay so memorable
