We went to a small wedding in June at Hipping Hall and the most amazing time. Hipping Hall was a stunning venue. Our room was beautiful with a spiral staircase and a fabulous bathroom! The food was fantastic - from hors d'oeuves to the wedding breakfast and breakfast the next morning! All in all a super venue, hotel and restaurant - will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: Each room is individually designed.

My wife and I stayed for a night on our way to the lakes. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden. The room had everything you could want. Tea is complementary and brought to your room.
The restaurant food and service is amazing in a wonderful dining room, I would recommend anyone.

We spent 2 nights here on a dinner, b&b arrangement. It was a mid week stay and on offer for £400. The food was very good and our large room (4) overlooked the garden. We were welcomed with coffee and cake which was a nice touch.
Would have liked a more relaxed atmosphere in the dining room. It is alittle staid but other than that, this is a very pleasant place to stay, with a strong emphasis on good food. The tasting menu is well worth trying. There is also a good choice for breakfast.
We would go back.

Room Tip: Room 4 is a lovely, large room ovelooking the garden. Worth asking for.

Stayed for 1 night & could not fault a thing. The food at dinner was divine, the service faultless. Breakfast was a revelation. We cannot remember the last time everything was served to the table. No buffet! Marvellous. Best eggs benedict ever.
Room 5 was as we requested, large bed & walk in shower. Very quiet at the rear of the house.

My wife and I stayed for two nights, and we loved it. We had the tasting menu for the first night (with the wine package), and everything was just fantastic. One of the best meals I've had in Britain.

The hotel itself is terrific, the grounds are beautiful. Some of the other comments about room 6 I would agree with; the shower took some gymnastics to get into, and I don't get the tv being in the bedroom versus the sitting room. On the other hand, the bathtub was deep and the water hot, and we didn't go there to watch tv anyway.

The best part of Hipping Hall is the staff. The service we received was second-to-none. Everyone was so pleasant, it was hard to leave.

All in all, an outstanding stay, great food, terrific service, and a lovely if not a bit odd guest room (which is par for the course in a guest house, right?) I'd happily go back and recommend it to others.
