We have just returned from a four night midweek break at Littlecote. What a beautiful place, Historic buildings, beautiful grounds and views. We were in a Signature room in the new block, it was very modern and clean, everything we needed, but we didn`t spend much time there when we were awake! Food was good as usual and waiting staff amazing. There are some steps in the dining room and given the age of some of the guests, a few people struggled to get down them whilst carrying plates of food. There was always a member of staff on hand to help, they were really on the ball. We were slightly disappointed with the activities programme which was very heavily weighted towards dancing and some activities attracted a charge. Evening entertainment was good, especially the Entertainment Team`s two shows. All in all a very enjoyable break.

Room Tip: If you are not keen on ghosts don`t choose a historic room! Rooms in the new block are quite a long...

Full of such wonderful history and set in the most picturesque grounds, I felt as though I was in heaven. My wife and I came away for a mid week break, to relax and in wind, and that we certainly did. Not only did we eat ourself into oblivion with most mouthwatering menu, we also danced the night away, something we've not done in an extremely long time. The entertainment was second to none, west end standard, the lead singer was superb. The live band was a luxury, though maybe a masterclass in how to smile for the gentleman on guitar. He really didn't look as though he wanted to be and as for shouting at the young lady fronting them, I'm afraid there are no excuses. We may be older young man, but we can still hear. As for the young lady in question, Forgive me for saying, but she'll go far on her own with her operatics. The archery and rifle shooting was certainly an experience. And as for the pool, always at such a pleasant temperature. All staff so friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble. But it is apparent that Warner's get their money's worth from them. Though there isn't a great deal to do in hungerford, there is so much to do at the hotel itself. We will certainly be returning, and I can assure that the good word will be spread. Well done Warner's!

This was our first visit to a Warners hotel and were impressed by the hotel, entertainment, staff and quality of the food. If you don't want to travel far the there is plenty to see and do at the hotel. The activities on offer include Archery, Rifle Shooting, Tennis, Bowls plus a Spa and swimming pool. The clientele are mostly over 60 but as a couple of 50 plus we didn't feel out of place. The quality of the entertainment is second to none, the young team were all very talented and could turn their hand to anything. Also worth a mention is the food which was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable long weekend.

Room Tip: The Signature rooms are larger than the standard rooms

May Bank Holiday 2014 traveled down from London to see the Bluebell display at West Woods near Marlborough. Stayed at Littlecote House, Hungerford. Spectacular drive into the hotel and the old house is beautiful. However we stayed in the new built part of the hotel, Our room was comfortable but you could hear the footsteps in the room above. Essentiallt Littlecote is 2 hotels in one. Rooms in the old house and Oliver's Bistro are far more sophisticated than the new rooms, dinning room and entertainment room in the new hotel. However even staying in the new hotel you still have access to the lovely old house and numerous activities, putting, swimming pool, fitness center, bowls and more. We would go again but stay and eat in the old house - more expensive but worth it.

Room Tip: The new hotel reminded us of a Butlins Holiday camp - vast dining area with entertainment, which by...

Totally happy with this Warner Leisure break having been here last November too.

Obviously Warner play to their target market, the over 60s, but that is their choice and job as a business. As a couple in our 50s we felt completely safe and happy there.

In response to an earlier criticism about the Lee Mead night, he did a very personal question and answer session before his excellent act then stayed to sign every autograph request. He was a total professional.

In respect of things complained about in the restaurant, all I can say is we had excellent service throughout. My personal view is if you treat people like you would like to be treated, we all win.Food quality was outstanding.

We will be rebooking soon without a doubt.

A Warner Leisure hotel which is a real treat. As usual, the food is excellent and the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The grounds are beautiful and the great hall is well worth a tour with a guide. It seems a priviledge to be able to stroll around such an historical building and just sit down, and read if you wish, in such comfortable chairs and think about the 14 Kings & Queens of England who stayed there. Also, Oliver's bistro is well worth a treat.

Room Tip: I have marked cChildren's activites as terrible as this is an adults-only, non-child hotel venue...

We stayed here in June for a 3 day weekend deal break. Hotel rooms were of a themed style and we had a Oriental style superior room which was comfortable and spacious with a lovely window overlooking the grounds. Food was in abundance. Breakfast was a vast choice of both continental and cooked. Evening meals were delicious and very filling. On site amenities were varied and interesting especially they pottery painting which is run in one of the little houses on site by an in dependant couple who were helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed the pottery painting. The evening entertainment isn't my thing at all but if you like that kind of cruise / pub singing style entertainment then it's value for money !
