We last visited Littlecote House in 2009 and vowed we would never go there again. The whole place was tired and in need of some serious tlc. Also the standard of food had gone down considerably as did the entertainment which was rubbish. Having said that we decided to give it another chance so went last week. We were astounded at the difference. The whole place has been refurbished. The food was excellent and the entertainment was first class. We had a spacious room with a large walk-in shower which was all very clean. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, In fact, we have booked another stay there in July this year. The only draw-back was the fact that they have got rid of the aviary and all the small animals which included two magnificent peacocks which we really missed.

Room Tip: Give it a try

This was our third visit to Littlecote so they must be doing something right!

The food was excellent, with good choices and the staff were great.

The entertainment was fantasticwith the Littlecote players working tirelessly to keep us all entertained at all times. Their "Sippin Soda" was as good as the touring show Dreamcoats and Petticotes! The Pantomine was a hoot and the 60's Beat on Sunday was also superb.

Other Warners could learn from these performers and their Entertainments Director.

Accomodation was clean and everything you needed was there.

Dispite indifferent weather, rifle shooting and archery were fun and it's worth the 10 minute stroll to see the mosaic and the rare chicken.

Don't forget the swimming pool and spa - well worth the little bit of extra effort.

Overall a brilliant break and could well go back in January 2014.

Stayed in ground floor signature room which was very spacious. Bath was small but so much to do there was not much time to bathe. Pool was just nice size and there is steam room and sauna. Food was excellent and breakfast was so large that it kept you going till evening. Entertainment team were excellent, so skilled and professional and really make the stay at this warners hotel excellent. There is a roman.mosiac in the grounds which is well worth looking at. The history of the Littlecot house is fascinating so be sure to tour the house and museum of Easy Company (band of brothers) who used the house during WWII. There is also a little craft shop on site which does pottery painting which could be missed so be sure to take a look.

Booked two ground floor historic suites to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. Reception on arrival was excellent with complimentary bubbles or tea/coffee. Tudor suite for my parents was stunning and Darrell suite for us was spacious and comfortable. Short walk though briefly outside to the main restaurant and hotel. Great service in all areas, food good quality, wide choice and reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Room Tip: Ground floor luxury request the Tudor suite

We have visited several Warner hotels, this is one of the best. The Standard rooms were excellent. The restaurant served a variety of expertly cooked delicious food. The entertainment was brilliant also the leisure facilities! Great for a short break!

Room Tip: Rooms in the main hotel are better, especially during the winter!

had a fantastic time evening entertainment was brill food was gorgeous and so much choice our room was big clean and really comfortable bed shame the weather wasnt good as a lot of day time activities were cancelled could do with some sort of standing area with roof for rifle shooting and archery for when weather is bad.
would definately return but then all our warner holidays have been good
the only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 was no where for outdoor activities in bad weather

This was a great weekend. The room was excellent with comfortable bed, large TV and great bathroom (but no clock anywhere - bring your own), staff couldn't have been more helpful and both food and entertainment were great.
It has lost a star because of some irritating (to me) deficiencies. There was no in-room wifi. The wifi in the public rooms was so slow as to be virtually unusable and their system screened what you could do. Mail on my phone wouldn't work, colleagues couldn't access work systems and many innocuous web pages were blocked. Coupled with a very poor Vodafone signal, this made keeping in touch very difficult.
We had a drinks inclusive package but the allowable included drinks list was poor and eclectic. You could have tea and coffee but not chocolate, you could have a glass of basic wine (priced at £3.30 otherwise) but not a J2O at £2.80. Only one beer was available free. If you wanted anything else you had to pay full price. I would not go for this again.
Finally I needed to leave early on the last morning. Breakfast didn't start until 8.30 and there was no early buffet. The only way to get anything earlier was room service at an extra £5. I thought this was poor.
