Had a great 2 night stay a the bear. The Staff were great, the bar very comfortable with a nice atmosphere. Had an impressive room in the main hotel, which had a lovely big bath in the room !! We encountered a power cut on the Friday evening (which was down to the power suppliers) which could have ruined our evening as we had not ordered our food, but the quick thinking staff offered us a menu that they could do with limited power that remained, to be honest the power cut only added to the fun of the evening, well done to the hotel for coping so well under this pressure. Hungerford is a lovely town with lots of lovely antique shops and close to Marlborough another lovely town.. All in all a fabulous stay and will defiantly be returning soon
