We were exceedingly lucky that the manager and her partner were at the hotel and opened the door before I got the code out. Lovely, friendly welcome in unaccented English although she is Spanish. The place was immaculate and clean and the room was excellent. We were threatened with a fee for cleaning the room because of our Yorkshire Terrier puppy but she explained this was automated although I did see an additional charge on the AMEX statement which I must check out....

I thought this place was great and a really cool business model. It was located very near the Dali museum and handy for everything else. We parked for free no problem near the Bon Preu Supermarket an 5-10 min walk away, there maybe closer parking.
Room was very spacious and spotless . Bathroom was excellent. Kitchen facilities adequate. Only thing Kitchen short of was a bread knife. Recommended.

Apartment 1 A (loft room) was spacious with kettle, electric rings, fridge, TV, Air con, TV, in room safe, comfy double bed with good sheets and mattress, chairs and table. It was very clean and crisp. Room has rapt around balcony however it is too small to sit out on so not much point in having it. Room is very light with lots of double glazed windows with electric shutters to keep out the light.
Bathroom is modern with hair dryer, bath with over shower, lots of hot water and fluffy towels.
Could not fault the quality of the room and fittings.
Location is just outside the old town, a minutes walk to bars/cafes/restaurants and maybe 3 minutes to the Dali museum. Great location.
Couple who run the hotel are wonderful 10 out of 10.
Only downside for us (we stayed a Friday and Saturday night) was the noise ingress from the streets outside. we were awoken several times by 'emotional' (maybe drunk people) having discussions outside in the street and sitting for a loud chat on the benches just outside the windows. The double glazing and shutters did not keep this noise out and at times it was very loud.
Also before we arrived at the hotel we had been staying for a week in a country villa without WiFi so were unaware that we needed to provide information to the owners so they could let us know how to access the building and the room. This vital information was not provided at the time we booked. We waited until 16:00 outside the hotel but no-one arrived so we had to ring the owners for them to rely information about the access. You need two codes to get in and obtain your key.
Despite the two issues we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and if you are noise tolerant this place is definitely a great place to stay. For us it was just Ok to good.
No staff around other than in the morning.

This hotel was a find. Nice air conditioning. cute kitchen, We had a car and there were parking passes ready for us at a parking garage one block away. Sweet. Efficiently run. Only 12 euros per day to park so close to the prime action. great value. Nice ELEVATOR. all up to code. Close to everything!

We have a street side room and we could not sleep at all because the constant noise from outside; men were shouting, trucks brought goods, loading-unloading, etc. 3 days of nightmare. It is a small apart hotel we knew but the kitchenette is so tiny that we cannot even prepare breakfast. Bring your own soap for washing your hands. Parking is extremely difficult and expensive.
