“Best fried chicken EVER!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

So I was vacationing in Tenerife with my wife and kids and I asked the concierge at our hotel where he would eat if he were going out with friends on a Friday night. He said he'd take a cab to Adeje and order the chicken, so that's what we did. We sat outside, ordered the chicken and when it came I was disappointed a first. It was just a basket of fried chicken. Then they brought out the dipping sauce, a red Mojo. Holy Canoli! Did that ever change that chicken dinner. It was delicious! When I got home I wrote the restaurant and asked them for the recipe for the mojo and they sent it to me. I've been making it ever since. If you are in Playa de las Americas on Tenerife, catch a cab (short ride) to the little town of Adeje and tell the driver to drop you at Otelo. I'm tellin' ya..........

“Mmmmm Garlic Chicken and great views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2013

January 2013 - we stayed with friends who said we must do the garlic chicken place while you're here. Only worth a visit if you have access to a car, a taxi would be too expensive. Up into Adeje and a steep hill and the views are fabulous.
The chicken is good with an extremely garlicky sauce and together with canarian potatoes mojo sauce and salad; a lovely meal. Prices very reasonable and chicken to take away with you too!

“Great place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

I love this restaurant it is one of my favorite places to eat lunch in the world. I normally arrive early in the morning and walk up the Barranco del Infierno - takes about 3 hours - and then have lunch when I get back. The food is great, it is Spanish food and lovely, try the chicken or the rabbit. The food is also cheap. Can't wait to go back.

“Great view, nice restaurant food average.”

Worth visiting just for the view but the chicken is nowhere near as good as other restaurants in Adeje.

“Typical Canarian Food - Great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

We visit Tenerife frequently and feel that our trip is not complete without visiting this restaurant.

The restaurant is not in the heart of the normal tourist area but in the town of Adeje near the Barranco del Infierno with a great view over the town and the coast. The restaurant is used by both tourists and locals.

The restaurant has a good selection of Canarian and European dishes all of which are freshly prepared and really tasty at very reasonable prices. They specialise in Garlic Chicken or Rabbit served with Canarian Potatoes.

The staff are most helpful.

Try to arrive around dusk as the view of the sun setting is amazing.
