Absolutely love this place, it isn't anything flashy but if you like chicken chips & salad n bread all made freshly for you whilst you wait this is the spot. Service with a smile, good value & delicious. My family like the restaurants own wine they sell there & that is really well priced also...cannot recommend this place high enough!!! Worth a drive & u can't be in the area & not eat in here!!!

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2014

We have eaten here more times than I can remember over the last 20 years, but over the last 6 months have been very disappointed. On our most recent visit earlier this month, the chicken was fused together (leg and breast) during cooking and was very soft, giving the impression it was undercooked. This little gem appears now to be living off its previous amazing and much deserved reputation. Such a shame!

“You have to try this place if you are in the area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014

This restaurant was recommended by a couple in our hotel. There is no menu, they just bring fresh tasty salad, chicken, chips and a bottle of house wine. All very basic, but tasty and could not believe that the whole meal for 2 was about 20 euros..... Well worth the 20 minute taxi journey.

“Salad to die for”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2014

We eventually found this restaurant after several driving trips around Adeje. We went at a lunch time, and were fairly early, which was a good job as afterwards there was a queue for tables. This place is frequented by locals always a good sign. We had salad, bread, canarian potatoes, and the lovely chicken, with water to drink (husband was driving so did not risk the wine which was in bottles with special labels with the pictures of the owners on the front) The salad although it only consisted of lettuce, onions, and tomatoes was wonderful very very fresh and a super dressing on it.
This place is not posh, quite ordinary, and certainly not expensive, but oh so worth the visit
for the wonderful local atmosphere and food. Plus excellent quick and efficient service.
If you don't have a car, try catching the bus or get a taxi, it is worth the trouble.
The little town also has a lovely feel and good history, and views to die for.
