Me and my girlfriend have just returned from a week at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife. I’ve seen lots of people on here moaning and being negative about the tiniest of things. I understand everyone’s experience is different so let me share ours...

The hotel itself is incredible! The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with every room having widescreen TV’s, Bose speakers, etc. The beds are HUGE and super comfortable, big shower space. The public spaces are lovely, decorated & maintained to a 5* standard, always with a Hard Rock twist - there’s always interesting memorabilia to look at and read about. There’s a pool which allows kids, an adult only and the lagoon (with beach) which is massive so there’s surely something to suit your mood. Each has its own bar, waiter service and music soundtrack.

Service was impeccable throughout - never had any disinterested staff or waiters...in fact they couldn’t do enough for us whenever called upon. The concierge service were always at hand to answer any minor questions or queries.

Yes, breakfast times could be busy if you wanted an omelette but the selection and quality was very good. Same with the evening half-board buffet...lots of choice and good quality. There were also scrambled and fried eggs with no queues. We tried Narumi with our €60 credit and it’s sushi was amazing. We also ate at 3rd Half.

Location in my opinion is great. We have previously stayed in the much busier Los Cristianos and preferred Paraiso. The Hard Rock dominates the small town but there is a supermarket across the street and a few bars. Playa Paraiso itself could be considered somewhat ‘isolated’ however there is a free shuttle to Siam Mall/Park and Hard Rock Cafe, Playa de Las Americas ran by the hotel. If you don’t mind the journey though, we enjoyed using the local TITSA 471 bus service which will run to you the Estacion de Adeje (Siam Mall/Park) for €2.10 or all the way to Los Cristianos for €2.55. The drivers are very good and will give you your fare in English if your Spanish isn’t up to task. Buses run every 20-30 mins from Paraiso and back up until about 10pm - takes about 40 mins to LC...but you can easily check on their website. We got the bus to LC two nights and had drinks until later so got a local taxi back, which cost €21 after midnight (hopefully you get Tony Diaz)!

The Saturday was the absolute highlight of our holiday though. Fatboy Slim was the guest DJ at the hotel lagoon party. Non-hotel residents pay €30 to attend this but hotel residents get in for free from the hotel entrance. It was absolutely epic and a true Hard Rock moment - there is no other hotel on the island that would secure such a global act for its pool party. Not usually our scene but it finished our holiday off on a MASSIVE high.

We absolutely LOVE Tenerife and this stay at Hard Rock ensures we won’t be staying anywhere else. In fact, we’re making our August 2019 booking tomorrow, except this time for 10 nights at HRH.

We did a lot so feel free to ask questions (hiring jeep, late checkout, etc).

Just back from hard rock hotel Playa Paraiso Tenerife was there end September 18 beginning of October .very close to giving hotel 5star but few things that have to say firstly on arrival you are met with a refreshing drink that depends who you are and what time you arrive.for a hard rock hotel music is pretty poor through out hotel .staff are lovely but few round about pool areas during the day who just can’t be bothered. No time wasted on queuing up for sun bed which is brilliant you can get sun bed anytime of day.as if you had to queuing up again for sun bed after the carnage of breakfast you would be exhausted before midday. hrh you need to sort breakfast area out I have never seen so much commotion in one area you have to line up orderly if you want omelette for about 20mins time you get there notion has went of eating .my wife stood in line for 20minutes got to front of line then was totally ignored and chef just decided to serve his Spanish friends and when my wife challenged chef he made ridiculous excuse that they had put order in earlier which is nonsense as you ain’t aloud to do.then out to pool areas what a laugh that is security constantly on patrol watching just in case someone eats or drinks something that wasn’t purchased at hotel they are over at you As soon as anything touches your lips I actually witnessed a lady being pulled up for her little kid must have been about 3years old eating packet of pringles was told to put them away total nonsense if you want to eat or drink your own fine maybe if you lowered your bar price family’s with a few kids wouldn’t have to bring there own .majority of staff are lovely and helpful and there is a few who do not want to no and just can’t be bothered.rooms are beautiful very clean but points I have put hopefully they will be addressed as met lot of people in hrh and we all more or less had same opinions

When we first decided to go Tenerife, we were worried about going due to the fact the amount tourist and dated country it was. We were reccomened to stay at the hard rock. We stayed at the rock royalty suite. I can say it was one of the best hotels I have stayed. We normally go dubai and Cyprus moat years and this can compete with most of the hotels in Dubai. The extra charge for the rock royalty suite is defiantly worth it for the matter of you get free food and all drinks between 7pm and 10pm in the lounge.The restaurants in the hotel are top quality. The only thing we weren't happy about is that they 50 euro a Shisha on the 16th floor bar, which is ridiculous for a shisha. They don't even charge that for a shisha in Mayfair London. They would be so busy if the charge was between 15 to 25 a shisha.
Other then that the hotel is great. I would only go back to Tenerife because of the hotel. I wish the area had more things to do. The spa is great but the cost of treatments is to expensive especially for the qualtiy of the treatments.

Currently at the hard rock hotel while the hotel is very good I agree with the previous review reporting similarity in the buffet food. The staff are extremely polite and very willing to help. Word of warning if you choose buffet food from the griddle plate make sure is thoroughly cooked before eating. My chicken was certainly not cooked which I discovered while eating?

I’m sorry it took so long to write a review but this is without doubt the best hotel experience to date.
We have done the Hard Rock Hotel in Universal Orlando staying Club Level but After doing Rock Royalty in Tenerife it’s no doubt the best experience to dat and I have done Club Level in Many Hotels.

This trip was towards the end of our stay in the canaries and between 2 families we booked 2 X Rock Royalty Studio Suites and A Rock Royalty Suite for 3 nights. Prior to our arrival Both Christina and her team on the RR Recepción couldn’t be anymore helpful. Booking dining and supplying us with various things to do to make our stay more enjoyable.

On arrival we where warmly greeted as soon as we stepped out our taxi. The valet had our name on a list and as soon as we were crossed of on the list the VIP treatment started. I think it was one of the main managers of the hotel who personally escorted us to the Rock Royalty Reception. We where welcomed by a wonderful receptionist who I think was Ivy as well as Mauri our Butler and we all had a glass of cava and invited to sit down to check in at a nice relaxed pace . While checking in we were offered a vodka shot that dissolved in our mouth which was unique. Once checked in Mauri our Butler first showed us the Rock Royalty Suite and then The Studio the rooms where breathtaking and the even supplied some cake and cava to celebrate my Fathers birthday and a voucher for a discount on the Spa.

The Rock Royalty Lounge had a great team of staff who looked after us very well. The various snacks and drinks through the day was a great help and in the end we had to cancel some reservations for the onsite dining as the tapas and cocktail hour where plentiful and came from the Tapas bar. One evening we were still feeling peckish Christina rang down third half sports bar to slot us in.The staff here were incredible nice and our waitress who was Italian and also works on the sixteenth was first class . In fact the staff seemed to enjoy working with each other and could have a laugh all the same. Huge portions and good tasty bar food.
The sixteenth Bar with the amazing sunsets and great Cocktails and heaters when it gets chilly is well worth seeing .
The pools all 3 where great but our personal favourite was the Beach Club and the lagoon style pool with a great DJ and laid back atmosphere . Those beanbags on the Beach Side where our favourite.
The food by the Eden pool was amazing and again portions where Huge and could be easily split for 2.
The Spa Circut included with RR was an abundance of Peace and Tranquilty from the various jets to the sauna and steam and the snow room which was unique to what I have seen before where my morning and evening ritual and I’m not a spa person. I even decided to have one of the signature massages rhythm in motion , basically a massage designed to speed of the music. There is a speaker dome over you and the vibrations of the sound pulse through you and the therapist goes through the different motions. It’s not the cheapest of massages but well worth it.

On our last night we had the tepanyaki booked in Naurmi, we were having such a great evening in the lounge saying goodbye to all the wonderful staff that we ran late for our reservation which Christina adjusted.
On arrival at Naurami we were given a lovely Table and the maitre d was our server for the Evening. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and not one of the 7 us had a complaint.

Cristina and the RR team are incredible, they certainly know how to make you feel welcome . Nothing is too much trouble for them and you really do feel welcome .

As it was only 3 nights last time we stayed for ,we have decided to go back in June 2019 for a week. We have also splurged for the Rock Star Suite this time round which is the best room in the House.

Christina , Mauri and your team keeping doing what ye do , ye guys Rock!
