Seriously.

Beautiful views, friendly staff.

Order the mixed-meat Paella, 1l of Champagne & Strawberry sangria then sit back and watch the sun set.

Don't bother with a chocolate-based dessert, they're for the kids - go for the crumble.

We went to this restaurant a total of 4 times on our holiday, first time we went there because of the fact that it was close to our hotel, Panorama. Second time because the first was so enjoyable (plus they recognize you). The waitresses are lovely, they really care for your pleasure and they're open to conversation (big plus if you ask me).

The scenery is just wonderful, on most tables you got a seaside view with a setting sun.
Lastly, if you're not into Dorada beer, they've got Leffe, and they serve it with a smile!

My Daughter and I ate in El Mago last year and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The lamb was the best I had ever eaten. My Daughter had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. We have just recently been back to Tenerife and El Mago was on our list of restaurants. The menu had changed slightly but was still just as good. We had the Strogonoff which I would highly recommend along with the steak. We had the stuffed mushrooms stuffed with veg, the best starter I have ever had, it was so tasty. The menu is different to the normal run of the mill restaurants which makes El Mago so special. The staff are very friendly the restaurant is very clean and the views are lovely. Look forward to my next visit there.

Like others who have reviewed this restaurant in Costa Adeje, we went there for dinner every night. The best part of the menu is the House Specialities, shoulder of lamb, paella, fillet steak to die for, garlic prawns, etc. and a great selection of good value wine. the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the setting is very relaxed and informal. The view over the Atlantic ocean is so relaxing and romantic. Don't miss the chance to go - this restaurant stands head and shoulders over its competitors.

We stayed in Adeje and visited El Mago, worth a visit and can highly recommend the slow cooked shoulder of lamb. We went twice, and had the lamb both times. The staff are friendly and the place clean and tidy. Certainly not the most expensive place we ate, and would highly recommend it. If, like me you hate being accosted by every person standing outside a restaurant trying to entice you in, and in the end you walk away and don't know where to eat, go straight here... you won't be disappointed. They were great with kids.

We also ate at the restaurant downstairs as noticed it seemed packed every time we walked by so took that as a good sign, was slightly disappointed although must say the steak was huge and cooked nicely and you get a lot on your plate, lots of sloppy cabbage and carrots though, the house wine wasn't great or too chilled either. It seemed to be full of ex pats taking advantage of a massive average tasting portion of food for not much money.... wouldn't go there again. But if you like that type of thing you might like it.
