Nice hotel @ old town. Stayed @ room #5. Clean & enjoyable. However, no TV, no internet service, no mini bar. Very small room & bathroom. No parking.
Excellent location to go out for dinner, bars & discos.
Very nice breakfast. Nice inside shop!
In resume: clean, stylish, fun, young and not too expensive.
Good option in Tarifa

Room was basic, no TV or air con.
We didn't need them.
The room was clean and in good condition.
It was right at the top of the building. A kind of attic room.
Tarifa old town can be quite noisy late into the night.
This hotel is on a side rd from the main rd and is reasonably quiet.
Breakfast is good.

A collection, really, of rooms and suites in several old houses in the narrow streets of the old town of Tarifa. Main "hotel" i ground floor of one house. Rooms very "designer". Ours (R 12) had an egg shaped marble bath; etc....Very comfortable and high quality. Hotel itself very pleasant, quirky and interesting design, with large windows opening onto street terrace for lunch, dinner, drinks, breakfast. Clientèle quite young but more expensive rooms probably for the "more seasoned" travellers! Beatuifully positioned in the centre of the old town.

Room Tip: Try a suite. No stairs and fun! Room 12 was lovely.

I loved the room we had, a suite, really a small house converted into a lovely suite, very nicely done. The bed linen was great, there was a little fridge which is a necessity in Spain and the staff were really helpful. The actual hotel was just down the street from the suite, very interesting! Couple of small things worth mentioning. The toilet was hidden behind a door but you would want to be tiny to use it, very small space. There was also beautiful large opaque glass windows but you could not open them, thought they might have opened onto a little terrace. Was slightly noisy, but didn't bother us unduly. All in all, I would go back, did enjoy it.

A group of 4 friends went to Tarifa to celebrate my 40th Birthday, Posada La Sacristia was recommended to us by someone who had stayed there before. The week before I went I looked on trip advisor and it made me nervous...I have to say I shouldn't have been, we were made welcome straight from the off, we had a room each and were in 1,2,3,4 and they were all perfect. This hotel has been tastefully restored if you are looking to go to a Hilton style hotel then this probably isn't for you you, the hotel packs charm and oozes with style after being restored for more than 12 months. I had lovely room two massive bed walk in shower to balcony terraces overlooking the old cobbled streets. I was perfect location just over the road is a lively square with good bars and places to eat, the food at the Posada La Sacristia has a great reputation, we only had breakfast there but judging by the fact we came home each night and the restaurant was packed with a great vibe. My only criticism is I had to come back to work !!

We travelled to Tarifa for a wedding. Hotel is generally as shown on website - charming old building in the heart of the old town.

Unfortunately, despite having booked and paid a deposit 3 months in advance, we were shown to the TINY room 7 - ok we had extra (wedding) luggage, but seriously, why would you put an enormous platform bed into the smallest bedroom in the hotel? As others have said, all the bathroom doors in all rooms are double 'saloon' style doors, with frosted glass - so at the wrong angle, you see everything. And in room 7, the WC directly faces the bed, and there ain't anywhere else to look! We lasted one night, and then switched to another room - surprisingly it was exactly the same price for a room twice the size with much better layout.

The positives: the staff were absolutely great and friendly, no problem switching rooms, helped with bags, free wifi etc. It's a stylish and quirky building, and the showers are great. The breakfast was fabulous: tons of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries etc - you do not need any lunch. There are plenty of comfy corners to sit downstairs to read a book with a coffee. Location is great for exploring the old town, walls, walks to the beach etc. (There is a 12km coastal walk along to Algeciras, which we sadly didn't have time for.)

Negatives: it is noisy - the alleyways surrounding the hotel are cobbled, so sound just bounces around outside, and straight into your open window. Given that it advertises its restaurant, we were surprised that it was closed when we arrived (last Thursday of May). Also, for a 'spa' there was only shower gel and shampoo in the rooms. And there was an sour-faced older guy who appeared to be the owner, did not smile or exchange pleasantries with guests or staff - didn't create a very welcoming vibe, and if you don't like people, why run a hotel..?

Great places to eat nearby, the 'Morilla' and also fab tapas place opposite the church.

As for Tarifa, we felt it had been a bit undersold - we're not windsurfers, but actually, we found it rather magical to be able to stand at the edge of Europe between the Atlantic and the Med, and see the lights of Morocco twinkling in the distance, and watch the myriad of boats, container ships etc sailing through the straits of Gibraltar carrying who knows what to where...

Room Tip: Don't stay in Room 7!!

Stayed at the hotel for three nights after visiting the nearby town of Vejar. Food served was fantastic. The staff were friendly, always smiling, making the stay very welcoming. Come for the ambience and the buzz, maybe ask for a room at the back of the hotel if you are a light sleeper!
