Stayed in the Punta Sur for 3 nights in july with my wife and two kids.It was our first time in Tarifa and overall I would reccomend it especially if you like beaches and a less commercialised southern spain experiance.
The hotel itself was very well laid out, nice rooms, great pool and we found the food very good(the menu was in spanish,so after a
crash course,we eventually ordered what we wanted).Generally
speaking we found that things happened alot quicker if you used as much spanish as possible.
The waiting staff for lunch and dinner were again quite good especially if you tried your best with the menu in spanish.
Our main gripe was with the girls behind the bar who were possibly the most unfriendly and uninterested staff I have come across in years!Their attitude spoils this lovely hotel which by the way has a fantastic garden with ponds and plenty of wildlife.
