This is the sort of place that gives you faith in human kind. The people that take in the animals and care for them work tirelessly and care for them day in day out relying upon donations. It's lovely to go along especially for the children to meet some donkeys, horses, a few pigs and a couple of other animals and also feed them. It's a little sad to see the state of some of them but that's the great thing about the sanctuary. You know the animals are now being cared for. Whilst there you can wander around and sponsor an animal for a really small amount of money, which will really help. Our kids love going along if only to see the cats that roam through and the huge pot bellied pig.
