I was staying in Torremolinos, a few miles down the coast from Nerja, and had the fortune to come up to here to visit a friend, I got off the bus and started walking into the town centre, the first thing I saw was this what looked like a big Plaza, but as I walked out, I realised it was actually a really big 'Balcony' that looked out over the surrounding area, quite a nifty idea so local councellor must have had back a few years ago to pave and fancy up a headland. it really is one of the memories of spain that will stay with me, Nerja is actually a really nice town, and if I am back down in the Costa del Sol again, I will stay here rather than in overly tack and commercial Torremolinos.
As for the 'Balcon' it just adds more class to an already classy place.
