I had been to this wine bar in my last visit 5 years ago and it has not changed a bit. Excellent food and above all, delicious, rare, 1st rated Spanish wines by the glass or by the bottle if one can afford them!.
Best to go there for some conversation and a glass of wine. Dinner can be a bit pricey, specially if on a tight budget. They have pitufos (small loafs of bread that can be filled with anything for about 5 euros... That is correct. Do not attempt the main dishes unless you are prepared to pay for them. A glass of wine can run between 2.75 and 15 euros depending on the glass.
Very nice, simple bar... two blocks from the train station... a bit hidden away. One has to look for the bus station (one cannot miss it) and it is right behind it. El Toston, a name to remember if in the area.

We have been to this restaurant many times over the last ten years but on our recent visit we were very disappointed. The food was very average with much smaller portions and the service was dreadful, considering there was only a handful of people in they didn't seem to want to be bothered. The term the least you have to do the less you want to do comes to mind. After speaking to many people about our experience several people feel the same.
We will be giving El Toston a miss until we hear they have got their act together.

Wonderful Spanish bodega, located behind the bus station, serving a vast range of tapas and main meals. Incredible selection of wines on offer. Try the aubergines with honey ( barajenas con miel ). Well worth a visit.

had dinner here last weekend during a visit with a group of friends from around europe. the food was simple, yet sophisticated and extremely tasty. bought some brilliant wine to accompany the food and for a superb (repeat: superb wine) you pay around eur 40 which for quality like that is very good value, will definitely come back.

I love this restaurant in Fuengirola and eat here every time I visit this place. Can especially recommend the Iberico ham, and of course, the lovely olive oil you get with the bread. Mmmm...
