Visited the Parc on Christmas day, it is a great Bioparc with large open exhibits for the animals and had a very diverse group of animals, the Madagascar island and the Mammal and bird show where very good.

This Bio Parc from the outside is like the tardis. You wonder how on earth they get in everything they advertise, but, once in, you realise it is done with so much thought and cleverness. The animals are shown off to the best possible potential at the same time you are aware, due to excellent notices, that this is not a zoo...it is a conservation success for many species. The show is informative; the cafe ecologically aware and tasty food and the walk around constantly stimulating.. If you are in the Costa Del Sol, make this a must!

Thank you for your comments. We like to know you enjoyed your visit. Bioparc is more than a park, our foundation collaborates in more than 20 conservation programs around the World and the park, Bioparc, collaborates with more than 40 conservation programs of endangered species.

We Took the train out from Malaga and really enjoyed our afternoon at the Bioparc, It is really centrally located with less than a 10 minute walk from the train station., The zoo definitely wasn't the biggest we had ever visited but it was really well laid out allowing close access to the animals but at the same time the enclosures themselves were impressive allowing the animals plenty of space and stimulation. The food available at the on site restaurant was also of a very good quality.

We hadn't visited Bioparc for a couple of years and I was keen to visit again with my camera. We were in for 10:00 and the zoo was fairly empty which was good for me to get the shots. The place was immaculately clean and most of the inmates were most obliging for the camera. The zoo has been developed since our last visit and obviously this is on-going. The enclosures are well thought out and as sympathetic to the animals as possible in the space. I particularly enjoyed the Orang-utan enclosure. We stopped for drinks which were fairly priced and also visited Malagasy forest, being a cool day most of the lemurs were in the trees. However a couple played for the camera. We also attended the birds and mammals exhibition which was most entertaining. I was impressed how it was designed to interact with children which hopefully will inspire future conservationists.
We spent three hours there but it could have been longer but it was filling up and getting difficult to get the shot!
If I was resident, the annual pass would be a definite.
I have tried to submit photos but it has not worked.

Thank you for your comments! We are glad you enjoyed the visit to Bioparc. The naturalization of the environment is one of our great differences, how we adapt the spaces where animals live to their natural spaces. This allows us to make enrichments for animal welfare and makes the visitor have a new and exciting experience. Regards!

Nice little zoo, beautifully landscaped, with just the right amount of animals. Kids and adults alike will love it.
