“Good value with lots of extras”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

I have stayed in this hotel on several other occasions.
I would recommend it for wonderful sea views, great value including breakfast.
You can take long walks along the front or just relax on the beach.
The staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast is varied and good.
It is near lots of shops, train stop and many restaurants

Room Tip: Always , always request a sea view, it is worth the extra money

This was our second stay at this hotel. This time we had room only as the food was not good the first time we stayed and we had to eat out. This time was much better. The hotel is immaculate, rooms better than average and the staff very pleasant. It could not be in a better position for the beach, station, bars and restaurants. I would say that the hotel is best suited to couples or adult groups, not families. Overall, excellent !!

We have just returned from a short break at the Confortel and we had a great time. The location was on the beachfront and was centrally located for all amenities. The rooms were spacious and clean and the maid came every day. I would definitely recommend this as it was fantastic value for money.

Room Tip: Bring an iron and a kettle. Neither are available to hire/borrow.

Short break to los boliches to establish somewhere we could go on a short break regualarly through the year. This ticked nearly all of the boxes, room was on 14th floor with huge balcony, sofa and very comfortable bed. Bathroom very clean, toiletries however were very minimal and hotel could do with a review of travellers needs now we are only allowed 50ml in hand baggage.

Breakfast buffet was very good with plentiful choice of both hot and cold items. Coffee was self service from a machine but was excellent quality.

With a 2 minute walk from the station and the beach right in front, location could not be bettered.

Only real gripe is the old fashioned TV's in the room and the channels available to english speaking guests. All I could find was Sky News and its' rolling news coverage. With over 50% of guests being from the UK the least one could expect is a choice of entertainment channels in english and on a flat screen TV that is less than 20 years old!!

Room Tip: Room 1408, sea view with giant balcony, bit windy in February but would imagine perfect in the warme...

Last minute short break. Lovely hotel, room was spacious clean, well equipt and modern. The towels were changed each day and the beds made once we had gone out, not once were we bothered by any maids. Hotel staff are very friendly and there is plenty to do in just a short walk away from the hotel. We had a sea view room, floor 12 above the pool. Views were fantastic... highly recommended paying a little extra for a balcony with a view.

Room Tip: Floor 12, sea view, very little noise.

Perfect location on sea front. Asked for a seaview room (small supplement) . Room was very clean bright and a very large comfortable bed. There was a tv in the room with international channels but the english channels not available even though they were advertised. Bathroom was a pleasant surprise to have a full size bath with a powerfull overhead shower. Reception staff very pleasant and efficient. There was free Wi-fi but unfortunately not the best signal. I would recommend this hotel and definately return.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, and again, there was nothing that I could fault. A 2 min walk from the airport train link. Stunning views of the sea and mountain range (room 817), the room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely kingsize bed and we had a huge balcony. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a great selection of food at the buffet breakfast, something for everyone. No complaints at all. We will hopefully be returning very soon.
